How to deal with Rogues as Priest?

Fine. I did a fucking classic 19 a few times as a priest.

Wand and kiting. You literally need support to keep them off of you. Rogues are the clinical of let me kick your healer ass regardless of what armor class. All of the posts are right.

Pick up engineeering. Bombs help for self peeling.

The nearest non garbage huntard? You must be a comedian! XD I know 4 skilled 'hunters' in the bracket.. Same numbers of rogues.. When Im on my rogue and I go rogue huntin.. They quickly puss out of a 1v1 and run to the nearest team mate cause I just destroy them.

Yep.. I just need lots of practice to raise my skill cap.. Its the most challenging 19 Ive made next to my rogue.. due to all the huntards..

Shaman and Rogue are my highest skill caps.. Warrior is braindead easy and only has one purpose which is CC the enemy team.. and now Im making a spellpower huntard with wingclip stun spec macroing a fang with crusader and using the shadow bolt offhand/shadow oil for memes. xD

Rogue is probably the best counter vs. priest. Even hunter can't really touch a priest. So priest is a pretty good class in 19. Many people already give excellent tips on how to deal with rogues. One specific I would add is cast a bubble + heal to top yourself up early. So if the rogue kick your heal, you'll have enough HP to last till the kick ends and immediate another bubble or fear + cast heal.

Fishing gear would go a long way to allowing me to wear healing power gear.. That stuff is amazing if I can get away for 3 seconds.

it's 19s. It's all about terrain jumps/exploiting. Until Arena comes out, you're pretty much screwed if you have no one to peel for you and you have more than 1 person on you.

yerp.. Im finding I want a body guard just to keep me alive.. I got a buddy rolling either a rogue or warrior who is gonna roll with me and defend me while I healbot him.

Roll horde and you'll find it 50% easier.

As everyone stated know your terrain, keep your distance, have a friend and get comfortable with jumps. If you need to fake cast Alliance have it better. You can fake with the furbolg transform rod since it shares the same animation as any of your healing spells. If they're clueless enough they'll kick it and you're free to heal for a short period. Horde kind of get the shaft on it. Maybe fake a heal with a hearthstone and see if they're fast to jump the gun on interrupting. Best of luck.

Just ran about 900 hp stack mana and stick with your team. If a rogue is on you it's almost never worth casting unless their kick is on cd. 99% of the time you are better off kiting toward an ally who can kite and yelling for peels. Stacking stam is in my opinion awful, you should very seldom be in a positioned to be tunneled and if you are playing properly that stam is just taking up stat points and if you are being targeted that often then you are better off trying to improve how you play than band aiding it running a crappy gear set.

Im working on fishing gear soon for it.. my shaman just got her hat finally.. my rogue being cursed Ive given up for now, hes just gonna get some goggs with 8 agi.

I love and prefer the +heals "shield" over the stamina build.

TBH the literal only problem I have is a few half decent rogues focusing me.. and Ive taken some of the greatest advice to heart: Wander off and waste their time.. Dragging them as far from the fight as possible.. While they face roll that sweet sweet kill on me. Its pretty easy to just lead them off into a random corner of the map and come back on rez to help my team. Its also become fun to see how long I can waste their time while they faceroll for what they think will be a free HK.
