It does not give xp for fishing items. Does that mean they give no xp to turn in?

Tasty fish is a repeatable turn in and theres no xp from turning in any of the rare fish from what I remember.

Yeah all the stv fishing tourny quests are labeled as repeatable on wowhead, therefore granting no xp because they are repeatable.

You only get a small amount of XP the first time you turn in the 1st trinket from the chest. After that the quest becomes blue so when you turn in x12 pieces for the actual AGM you don't get any XP for it (which a lot of people seem to think). I have x2 AGM so I know (which is BiS for ALL twink classes during downtime).
And for me that's what a big part of twinking is about for me - going out of your way and spending loads of time just to get something that benefits you, even if it's as small as 1% dodge, like with my 2nd AGM.

There are quests in Classic that are repeatable and give XP, not every repeatable quest will give 0 XP.

Hue? What are you on about? Most BG's are PUGS (especially now with the release of BWL) and having a strong Dodge/AP build is great for both having to FC (Which I have to do a lot since people love to mid zerg and don't help the team at all). I'm almost at 50% dodge now with 25% crit. And I have every other weapon with every enchant you can have to diff keybindings.
I'd def say getting a 2nd AGM which is BiS for EVERYONE during downtime is spending "loads of time" and dedicating time for it. Wouldn't you say?

Aren't you on a PVE server with barely 5k pop? We're doing a 30-40 man raid versus several other groups like Progress and Symbol which makes APES look like children. But then again Firemaw is by far the biggest EU realm atm. So for every chest there's a long prep time of summoning people ahead, buffing etc.
Before I made my twink I also farmed 40k gold on my main, while at the same time working full-time, to make sure that I am economically independent once I make my twink. For me that's an integral part of twinking to use everything at your disposale - and to do that you need gold.
Surely you must have two then? Because I haven't seen one guy with both on Horde side except myself. I talked with one guy from Pyrewood on Ally side who had two - but that's again a low/mid pop PVE server so it's not a challenge at all.

Much like Crusader and double 15 Agi, you're making wrong choices by going on the most populated (PVP) realm. And yeah I have two, have had two since forever. We have over 40 AGM's in our Guild and at least five people have two of them. I don't think it's an achievement at all.
The reason you don't see people with them is because nobody wears 2x AGM at start of BG. The only time it swaps is when both Isignia and Recomb are on cooldown, which doesn't happen that often, let alone when someone is inspecting you.
