1 hat @ deleted shaman, 2'nd try.

1 hat @ deleted rogue, 3'rd try.

2 full turneys fishing till the end on one and helf way on the other {i technically did 7 turneys but i only had time to fish for 20 mins so i dont count them}

the only reason why i play my priest so much and don't try n get my boa helm is cuz that **** took me 3 1/2 years!!!

rogue got first week near the end of the tourney and my pally took 8ish weeks. got it on christmas day oddly enough.

Took me 90 minutes (first try) on my paladin and 15-30 mins on mage. The rest of my toons I never bothered too much with.

Keep in mind that the reason why it seems that everyone gets it on their first or second try is because those are the people who are most likely to post in this thread. So the statistical sample here is naturally heavily biased. There are a good deal more who never got theirs and thus choose not to post.

It reminds me of my mount farming on my main. I would inspect people who were riding Rivendare's Deathcharger to see how many kills on the Baron they had. Almost always it was 10 or less, because in general the ones who have it are simply lucky. Most people who farm it give up, so you will rarely see someone riding it with 100+ kills on the Baron. (I myself totaled well over 500 kills including the pre-drop rate buff in BC.)

Just a thought...perhaps it will make some poor souls who never got their hat feel better.

Well thought out.

I'm also curious to see what fishing levels you guys were using at the time and which type of lure?
