How many Stendel's Bane did you catch before you got a SWB?

7 rings from 35 fish, the first 2 rings I fished up when the rings just came out and droprate seemed higher (3 fish 2 rings). Allso my last 2 rings I fished after 5.3 and they took me 4 fish for 2 rings. I can't find the data on the amount of total casts I'm afraid.

This makes my average 1 ring per 5 fish (Bane's).
 
Think I've fished around 10 rings or so, sometimes you get it from first or second bane, and the longest dry streak has been around 60 bane fishies :p I love the feel of seeing that blue ring coming out of a fish! Even have a screenshot on my computer of back-to-back stendel banes but can't post now. Damn you [MENTION=16240]Goesid[/MENTION], now I'm urged to go back to that pond :D

Who cares about gy farming, everyone does it when no one is watching.
 
Last time I farmed these, I got it in the 3rd cache. It took 20 minutes. BUT.... After 3 catches in 20 minutes, it took nearly an hour to catch another cache. Can these still be caught?

I have never used one, I used to farm them for quick gold.
I imagine that they would be great for 14 twinks. I dunno though. :)
 
I've gotten one within the first 5 stendel's on each of my two characters but never took the time to fish for a second one on either.

[MENTION=14218]Lil[/MENTION] RE: the one ring. Ah, lucky! I've been hoping for one of those through my crafty, ironjaw, and now one that didn't get away achievements. Still no luck.

I never fish those shits , just a ring +5crit means a shit for me -_- ! If u want crit get the Stillwater's Signet and Dread Pirate Ring !!! ------------------__________________--------------------

I have farmed them before and I got 2 banes in 1300 fish. I am currently farming them on a new rogue and I am over 1100 fish, 11 banes, No BAND. I even saved up 7 to open them all at once and not one had a ring. I cried

Although it doesn't say the Banes are unique, I always wondered whether you could fish up more than 1 at a time. This helped me out, feel a bit more happy :)
 
Started to Fish for it on Legendary,Got 5 banes in 30 casts.no ring. Will try for more after cta
