Everything? Always? This is about Hong Kong and most of what's wrong with HK is HKs fault. Few things can be blamed on China and the UK.

1) no, fake election, you deliberately missed out the keyword "fake".
2) As you said, those are barren rocks in the South China Sea. But China considers these rocks as their territory - not simple barren rocks. This is clearly an expansionism.
Once again, China supporters keep using empty misleading words to defend against criticism.

Fake as in they didnt happen? And its all a conspiracy?

Ye. If you wanna push the americans out of the South China Sea thats one way to do it. It's not like they want to habitate those rocks. Its how great powers behave. The chinese dont want the americans riding their boats just off their coast anymore than the americans would want China sailing past Florida.
Chinas policy towards Taiwan (and Taiwan is really the only country that is in real trouble if China continues to rise) is way more in line with an expansionist strategy but its not aggressive expansionism, yet.

1) fake means it looks like an election but have no real function of an election - which is to allow the general public, instead of the dictators, to decide who can actually be elected.
2) Nobody cares what the Chinese don't want. Just like gangsters don't want to be broke, but that is not the reason for them to rob the bank. Barren rocks are rocks, not their territory.

Sigh. The general public has so say, not as much as they would have if they had approved the 2014 reform but they have some function and elect some members of the legislative body.

Anybody can claim any barren rock they want. Hans island is an example of a barren rock that is disputed. Has nothing to do with China, has no significance what so over, but both countries want the barren rock.

There are no rules that govern states behavior. Its an anarchic system.

Gangsters don't give a shit to the "The Permanent Court of Arbitration" because they think they can bully other states. And China is exactly such a gangster. Anyone with a common sense understand this without any propaganda leaflets. Instead, you need a lot of training in propaganda techniques to come with all the empty rhetoric without any concrete substances to defend your China overlord.

The whole point of the fake election is to have a nominating committee controlled by the regime to nominates 3 loyalists as the candidates so that the result of the election is PRE-DETERMINED (1 of the 3 loyalists).

1) legitimizing bullying can't change the fact your China is a gangster
2) independence is just a convenient excuse for implementing a fake election which is actually the cause of any independence movement(if there is really any). Using dictatorship to prevent the consequence of dictatorship is a silly propaganda.
