Because female promiscuity is frowned upon in our society and associates with the words "slutty" or "easy" or
dirty" while promiscuous men can be seen as confident and charming. These are just the adjectives our society has placed on promiscuous behavior... Simple as that. Is it fair? Absolutely not. That doesn't change the fact that it's true.

A man that has "slept around" is not necessarily seen as charming. Perhaps to the naive maybe. But those of us that are little more sophisticated and "seasoned", they are viewed as a womanizer, and nothing more.
