How long did it take you to get fishing hat?

Almost two years of being shy. I saw how hard it was for everyone and didn't even "waste my time" trying.



The first time I tried, I got it within about 10 minutes. Got a fishing line, too.



Guess this says you shouldn't be cowed by twinkytoes's bad luck... you might just have good luck anyway.

tried twice on my pally and three on my priest. Priest got it third time after i figured out a bitching route to get a ton of fish without being ganked. I got about 2 lines 3 boots and 1 hat in my total 5 weeks.

On the palli it took 2 weeks for a hat, 3 week was another hat and 4th was the boots.

My priest: 90 minutes in, first try.

On my first twink ever I caught the hat after three weeks of fishing. I didn't really know what I was doing, but the week after that I caught the boots.



About four months later I made a shammy and the first week I caught the fishing line, second week I got the hat in the last two minutes.



Six months later made a druid twink and got fishing hat and fishing boots on the first day fishing on that toon in the last 20mins of the contest, four casts apart.

hat and boots after 2weeks on rogue. hat boots on druid after maybe 6 then got 2hats and a boot within 10mins one week would have been 3hats but i mislooted :/

3 weeks for the hat. Got the fish mace at the first week lure at the 2nd week and fishing hat at the 3rd week

Chars:

Paladin -> 9 months to get hat.

Warrior -> 3 weeks to get hat.

Warlock -> 4 weeks to get hat.

First hunter -> First throw. (Camped for 18 min, managed to get 1 throw, loot hat, gank on repeat.

Second hunter -> First sunday (45 min in). Am I sensing hunter luck? Not only OP but also lucky!?

Druid -> 5 weeks.
