How long did it take you to get fishing hat?

got it yesterday

after about 15 tourneys, 11 lines, 3 boots and a fishy mace.

I got 1k fish caught 2 tourneys before and 300 fishing(i trained it late for lols) the previous one. It is about luck and i hope whatever magical force controls it gets the shit knocked out of him lol.
 
Shaman #1- got it 3rd cast of my 10th week.

Shaman #2- Got it 2nd cast of first week.
 
I got mine on jailbot

after a couple days of grinding fishing to 225

and on my first sunday, after about 1 hour and 20 minutes of fishing. :D
 
I've fished about 21 tournaments now. 2 boots, 6 lines, 0 hats. Some people get it in 5 casts others never get it.
 
a line, boots (after nerf), 420 fishing, fish mace, and a year and a half (at least I got my shadowfang a week before, it had to happen soon after that)
 
tryed for 4 weeks, after that i noticed how i was getting ganke dby other wannabe twinks and had to bring friends which are too hard to convince in staying with me for 2 hours. thus i still dont have it and i decided to let it go !

Despite the running theme of the thread, I choose not to conform to the registered form of response, and in my fit of abstactism I decided that the ambiguous nature of my post perfectly suited the purpose I had in mind.



In secondary response to you're post i never got the hat on any of my characters, although I did manage to fish up the boots twice, once before and once after they were taken away from us.

You were getting owned 1v1 and they were the wannabes?
 
First hat(mage) took me 12 minutes at first tournament.

Second hat(priest) took me about 1 minute (second cast) First tournament.

Third hat(priest) took me about 30 min on my second tournament.

First Hat on My Hunter took me 3 months of every Sunday, On my pally took me 2 tournaments and got lucky, got the hat, then on the very next cast got the boots, this was of course before the lvl capped Boots
 
6 months before I got my first hat on Vanas. Total of 5 atm on him, 3 boots and 1 line. Won the tourny once too on Vanas. 3 hats on Sanav (my priest) and 2 boots. 1 hat on "main". Fastest hat I got was first cast. Slowest was like 15 min before the end.
