How Did You Find Out About TI?

Hey guys! So I was curious as to how the word of mouth has been spreading about our site. I would love to learn more!

Ingame Recruitment:
Was someone advertising twinking and did that person provide you with the link to TI?

A Friend:
Did a friend or guild mate tell you about TI?

Internet Search:
Were you just searching around at twinking online and stumbled across the site?

Other - Please explain!

I'm not gonna explain what a twink is In the sexual terms. Basically I was looking for a porn website, unforunately this website was not what I expected. HOWEVER this was relevant to me as I did play WoW and twink. From then on I dedicated an account to TI :)
 
I found twinkinfo by chance a few years ago. None of the options fit.
 
This was almost 3 years ago, maybe a bit less... I found about it while I was playing on my hunter (horribly geared hunter) and a player named Capias (not sure if it was him or someone named similar) had a macro to join a... vent or something and I think I said they were streaming or recording.
Long story short, they weren't... I think it was an old macro he decided to spam but... it also had this website. I dont remember the exact words but it was like "Join twinkinfo.com, the biggest twink community" ... ugh, I don't even remember correctly haha.
Then I came here, but I spent lots of months just lurking around and not posting. The trolling at that time was too damn high...

When I joined a twink bg and got called a noob someone told me to gear up and check TI. Was a while ago :p
 
Probably would have been 08 or 09, my friend told me to find him a seller for a fang on here so he could buy for me (that's how I got my first fangs ever on my old 19 rogue, Aintabanka being my 2nd)

Never really joined the site until probably early cata because I wasn't fond of negativity and 9/10 threads spewed just that lol. But I would still find myself coming back on and reading posts to keep up to date, eventually I just made my own account.

Haha I just look up twink guides and I find. I wanted to come back to twinking and WoW this year. I should not have sold account long ago but it fine I got a new one and having blast haha.

I used to be huge achivmen hunter so I was trying to get AGM achivmen and look up guides how to. Most guides pop up on IT . I read up on it find out what /who twinks are. Say forget the achivmen on my lev 80 (and waste the great trinlet ) made twink paladin and get it on my 19 play with help of this great site . THANK YOU TI

noticed it on wow f2p guides since 2011 but had no idea what that is... so i just lurked around in the forums before joining in 2012 and then making THIS account (old account got screwed up)

To be honest, Prior to 2009ish, most of the traffic on this site was the blog front end. There were a great deal of twinks that never even used the forums or just lurked. The front end comment system didn't require registration and people could reply to our articles w/o having to register. The forums were still great back then, just not the focal point of the site. My server stats showed that the Wordpress side got 75% of the traffic and the forums 25% for a span of 2 years. This number came closer to even in the year prior to the sale of the site.

Speaking of the sale of the site... I sold the site for next to nothing and there was some public clowning of that... people lol'd as if I got "taken".... not the case.... I just wanted to get rid of the site. The site was a hobby and became a burden for me. I never made any money off the site, nor did I want or need to. I only had ads on the site for a month or two in the entire time I owned it.

I miss the blog posts! Today when I make any post that has over 100 words I run the train of comments saying "NEED TLDR VERSION" and other crap like that.

Made the jump from pwndepot to here years ago.
 
Was getting burned out on endgame raids and PvP back in late 2010 or early 2011. Had some friends that twinked in vanilla and TBC, so I did a web search for 'warcraft twink' and here I am! Lurked for a while then made an account that I forgot password and what email addy, so I made this account in 2012.
