Holy Paladins safe to play again

paladins were never safe to play.They always attract the worst crowds.Its any type in cata and holy/prot in MoP, once you play a paladin you just lowered yourself down to the worst of the worst
The only reason I used one is because to be successful you gotta fight fire with fire...as duopaladin once said all those eyepatch hunters ..someones gotta keep them in check.Same went for paladins

Yes you may think ''oh this guy hates paladins'' but its..how OP can this paladin thing be if played correctly and blizzard keeps buffing them more

Shockadin's were about outlasting an enemy, knowing an enemy(his cd and playstyle) Well played shockadin was using macros(so did holy but wasnt it that crucial) to heal/cleanse himself and the team(party1/2/self) and using HoJ and Repe

The plan was outlast an enemy and beat an def cds from them and then Shock them to death with all burst available in 2-3 GCD (Wings,divine fervor,HolyShock,Rockets on the gloves/engi trinket - exo - judgement/HoW). If posible even cancel art of war to cast exofirst and free one gcd.

Then back to semihealin role unable to kill anything receiving heals/semiheals. Because shock was needed for healing and exo on 15sec CD(rockets wings..etc..).

That was shockadin because HOLYSHOCK was main source of burst.

but denounce - that HIGHDMGFASTCASTCRITPREVENTINGSPAMMABLESHIT is making even good player looks bad, because you're just forced to use it and not think about enemy's cooldowns etc.

To the next one Pursuit of justice.. while it isnt bad you have wrote that WoG isnt almost worth casting. I have reply to this too

30% wont most likely help you get out of range of rogues, speedof light + cleanse + antivenom (havent farm any yet) will.
Also allows you to reposition in fight when you need fast instead of 15-30% buff always even if not needed.

Also as you have said somehow forcing you to not using WoG. WoG is main reason(after basic overpowerness of criting

holyshock and fakecasting) why holypally can heal/cleanse some1 else while some dpsers are on him. Go back to the shockadin section and then bind your crusader strike. Most of the time issomeone on you.. even hunter's pet helps. Yours speed of getin holypower will double(or more) and WoG will become a welcomed instant heal. Thus makin pursuit of justice worse than speed of light.

I was really used to toping healing charts with holypally while geting KILLING BLOWS (but with relatively low dmg done, achieved by focus hojing healer while bursting the target) but spammable exorcism is what makes holypallys in F2P bracket OP(i dont know anything about cata or mop). Not Their ability to heal almost everything they (as far as i remember from wotlk) have always been most defensive healers while not having much CC(like domination mind+30sec cd fear, ws+hex+slowtotem or nonstop 1v2/2v3 arenas because of nonstop cyclone+roots+stuns).

/TLDR

Unless is denounce on like 10-15sec CD. Holypallys are not balanced.

Wtf what is the cd on likes? I've been like capped for 3 days o_O Anyways this is the best reply on this thread and explains the most.


Unless denounce is on like 10-15sec CD. Holypallys are not balanced.
 
If you're spamming denounce a rogue/sham is just going to shut you down for the kill. Denounce being an issue is the silliest thing I've heard in this thread. Holy damage is more balanced than Rogue damage. The core issue with holy paladins is the ability to keep 6+ people and yourself alive the entire game without dying once. If you're being killed by holy paladins don't pug.

No the problem with Hpals are the ability to keep 4+ people on you the entire game while being able to still kill everything with decent dps.

Is this another one of your jesus claims that you can beat a Hpal critting 450 denounce crits? Denounce is definitely an issue for Hpals. No class with that much healing capability should be able to spam crit 450 dmg
 
I'd honestly like to get the name Karma. But it fits a female Paladin more than a male, and Holy paladins are the only healer class that I will play a male Human on. I'd like a name that has meaning, both to myself, and so people recognize me. Its gonna be a long journey......
 
I, by accident, named an alt of mine Squirtle... either people treated me like a god, or they called me a wannabe when they figured I wasn't the real deal.

But you should just name it Júztînbìébër, you are a twink after all :3
 
Well I have been using Marxis/Marxxis/Marxen/Marxy Forever. I can go to the Armory and think up a name and I bet I can find at least 3-4 people with the "Original" name. It sucks. I bet I can go find like 10 Earls. and like 15 Yde's and 400 Lils and Lilhunters

Unfortunately pretty much anything with a meaning won't be unique. :(

Yde is about as obscure a literary reference as possible and there are still two other active profiles and about 40 level one characters.
 
Exorcism used to cost ~30-35% of base mana. Exo spam was never a wise option in opinion because you got oom quite quickly, I was always a fan of meele dmg, but i guess that also has had something to do with the 5yrd minimum range of hunters...Denounce spam, however, is the sort of the only option, if it comes down to a fight where healing on the other side is involved, for meele dmg being completely useless in such cases.
