Hit rating

Arena is no more. Elixir of minor Accuracy is the best battle elixir for all classes. Even healers need hit rating, no decent healer just stands there and heals. Am i missing something or do all of you premaders not use elixirs of accuracy in your premades? ^.- I'm having difficulty figuring out why people are so particular in choosing a set of gear to reach hit cap in exchange for other stats. Elixir's of accuracy are not expensive, easy to farm, or in the case of laziness simply pay noobs to fish up a fuck ton of fish for you, trust me, they'll do it.

This thread is outdated and a lot of the info is inaccurate. Its more of a rant at people to hit cap rather than anything else. Hit pots are indeed best in premades, but theres no way i'm going to be using hit pots as standard in PuGs. Besides, certain items like sparksteel bracers or the leather BoA chest are BiS anyway even without the hit rating.

true some items are BIS even with the hit rating, but the point is Hit rating pots and BOAs are still BiS for DW rogues/enh, the only class who shouldn't use hit rating elixirs in WSG is Feral druids. as they get full hit cap from BOAs alone. Everyone else....well...they need it. Feral's should ofc roll with +8 agi battle elixirs. IMO people who don't at least attempt to have everything BiS for TWINKING (the word which means having the best of everything, including elixirs) well they fail. People put hundreds of hours into perfecting their twinks and farming titles etc, but they can't afford the time to buy/farm hit elixirs?

The guide is very outdated. I suppose i should really buff it up a bit.

Edit: Alrighty, its updated. I didnt update the gear section because any guide author should include it in his guide. I may get around to redoing the post soft cap maths for DWing classes at some point.

Hit actually doesn't matter THAT much. Since my bracket and this bracket is very bursty, you will need as much attack power as you possibly can. It's all about killing eachother as fast as you can with burst.

What's the use of stacking attack power when your skill has a chance to miss?

That's like me making an AP set for ambushes only to have the ambush miss, which costs me to lose 500 damage off the bat.

And Kore has resigned and is inactive on twinkinfo.

The miss chance isn't huge. I just like to do huge warrior crits instead of little rogue stabs.

5% is still a considerable amount. Let's see, spend 10 hit rating and never miss a skill; or get around 10 strength, do maybe 10-15 more top end damage, and miss skills that could be gamebreaking.
