EU+US Havoc 101 -> 102

I think I will do it but I wanna hear your opinion first.

I don't care about legion content anymore, so the ~50%HP increase on mobs shouldn't concern me. As a Demon Hunter I can not only use both Artifact Weapons, I will gain a dps talent for both (havoc and vengeance).

So I played around with simulationcraft a bit. This is what it gave me:

1 stationary boss
101 - 217212dps
102 - 199750dps
102 /w Bloodlet - 215352dps
102 /w First Blood - 222473dps

So I should perform better in Draenor and lower Content. Same for 3+ fights.
And in instanced PVP the additional talent is great too.

What do you guys think? Did I miss something? Should I do it?

I wanna but I feel that I could have missed out on something.

As far as I can remember, everyone that has pushed to 102 over staying 101 has regretted it. That said, it's not a massive change so you'll still be as good or better (short of Hit) than new 110's at either Level.

My friend plays 102 for DH and he preaches it due to the extra talent alone. The dps increase is decent for him

I am at 102 on my DH only because back then I was twinking to quest throught legion content and level up feeling a god.
Not staying at 101, of course I regret it thinking there is a huge difference, but what you showed me makes me happy.

I also believe that the 3rd talent (Blood let) is not something that should be taken lightly! From what I hear its incredible, I havent played on my DH since going 102 though (so for 2-3 months).

Also, trying out vengeance as a twink is something awesome.

One thing though, going 102 is probably going to bring down your mastery (run speed) alot no?

There is a little tear in my eye thinking of the reduction. I hope that my happy tears with the new talent are bigger. *g

And if I frogged up simming my toon and it will perform way worse, I still have 2 deleted 101 demon hunters which I could restore.

I AM SO GLAD I DID THAT!

a) With the additional talent both specs feel so much better now.
b) Having my artifact weapon back as vengeance is just great.
c) Killed some stuff open world and everything died instant as before.
d) Here comes a biggy: THE MOBS IN A DUNGEON ARE NOT STRONGER THAN BEFORE. It is the opposite, I can kill them faster now because I do more damage. They have the same health as they had as 101. I've just soloed the Trash in NL and it was smoother on my Havoc than before. Festerhide Grizzly has 2.9mio HP. The other Elite ~1.7mio and the birds 1.2mio. Just like they had when I was 101. And yes I reset the dungeon and stuff. Went back, killed Archdruid Glaidalis (13.2mio HP) with ease.
e) Don't forget to turn off your xp at 102 again. I was already 25% into 103 when I saw that. *g
f) Yes, I've lost movement speed. But only a bit and I can totally live with that. Normal Gear down from 156% to 151%. Speed Gear down from 202% to 193%.
