[H] The A-Team is back! Recruiting Now!

so basically you're planning on facing a bunch of fails so you can have the e-peen of "we beatz 24 pugmades". if some one runs a bunch of idiots that dont know what the hell they're doing then gz.

thats easier said than done vs 7 competent players that have a 4lvl, gear, and enchant advantage. 7 20s can turtle, never mind 7 24s. and if you're not facing a competent team, then i'm not really interested tbh.

EDIT: Never mind, missed an edit to the OP. Y_Y

[disregard] This thread isn't about a 10 vs 10 of F2P vs 24s though, It's about 10 F2P against five 24s and five people they randomly pick up and seeing what happens.[/disregard] :)

I think it would be more fun to actually let them try it before we all decide on the most likely outcome instead of playing. >_<

Did you read the OP? :)

Well... given that the only 24 premades who would accept the premade v premade would be CC (if they still played!) or maybe Lith's group, I'd say the outcome is already decided. No?

Maybe so. :p

Still, if I wanted to calculate the outcome of everything I would play more D'n'D. :( Most of the time team rosters will give you a good idea how the game might end, but still most people will not just leave the battleground and imagine the game it might have been had they stayed. Although that is creative, of course. I just don't understand why so many people are like "I'm not interested in this, but I see that you are, so let me tell you all about how you shouldn't be."

oh shit the famous A team is back. cant wait for some more exciting premades just like the last ones u brought us

but the OP says its a 10v10 and he as the comp to counter any grp, i personally cant see that. but fair enough, key sera sera. <3

This was an interesting thread back at the beginning, you know, when it was sticking to its original purpose which was to recruit people into an interesting plan.

It became not so interesting when one person hijacked it, repeating his opinion on how the entire idea is so doomed to fail. As someone said recently, don't yuck on other peoples' yum. I don't even know you, and I'm already tired of listening to you repeat yourself.

How about we all respect the OP, and allow this thread to be used for what it was written for, and not our own personal soapbox regarding how doomed it is to fail? Here's an idea, if you think the comp has no chance of succeeding against an organized group of 24s... prove your point by going to organize a group of 24s. I'm sure the OP will welcome the challenge.

In the meantime, how about we all stop trying to show our superior skill at theorycrafting, and let the OP have his thread back.

I'm not actually planning anything. Have you seen me post anything about joining in on this? No. You haven't.

& 24s have been crutching for a looong long time. I'm not saying this shouldn't be played against a competent team. I'm saying 24s don't have a competent team.

Let's make more sweeping generalizations shall we?

People with tan skin naturally jump higher and are more talented at basketball.
paladins are played primarily by little mexicans who don't understand how to turn with a mouse.
did i miss anything ?

Has it been confirmed that the free-loa.... i mean f2ps get bumped up to 24? Doesn't sound very realistic, i mean this is blizzard.. they love their money!

Before you get your hopes up and start this gang of misfit toys, get confirmation on what the change actually changes.

far as Im aware the f2pswill have an easier time gaining a hitcap vs 24s and they get 40 hp
24s will lose the ''extra crit''they hit on the f2p(a higher level has a bigger chance to crit on a lower level not sure how to explain this mechanic)

The f2ps still lose something while gaining a hitcap, not a substantial amount, but 15 haste and 3% crit from the respective professions(herb and skinning) will be even less noticeable on a f2p when your stats are raised to a 24

bingo! its all about the 24 hate. are you that self deluded that you think they isn't 10 24s, in the whole of the us at least as good as a bunch of trials? as for crutching, next time you're in a 20 only bg take a look at the classes... now please go away with the "24 badz" bs, i've heard it all before.

edit: i mean, disc piest, hunter, shaman, must take someone at glad rate to play at this level...

I honestly don't think it's going to be a faceroll for the 24s, there will be quite a challenge for them. If they do end up winning or if we end up winning, it will be a very very close game.

1. 24s will no longer have that 'extra crit' advantage over 20s
2. 24s will no longer have a hit rating advantage over 20s. That in a sense will improve our dmg and CC.
3. Our abilities/scaling goes to 24. Even though we don't have the gear of a 24, our abilities will scale as if we were 24. Our damage will be similar/close to a 24.

The main overall reason is that it's more fair-game now. f2ps will basically be 24s, but without the actual 24 gear. In a sense, it would be like doing RBGs at endgame. One team with Malevolent Gear(24s) and the other team with Dreadful Gear(20s). Our dmg will be similar, but 24s will still be above us no matter in dmg/heals/survival. Maybe not my best analogy lol. but I believe this will be a true test of skill vs gear. And more importantly, it's going to be incredibly fun :)
