ive enjoyed both marmite and vegemite in my spread eating career and honestly there identical but i prefer vegemite... plus marmite is in scarce supply due to the tragic quakes.

also gingerbread there are two versions of marmite the original british and the kiwi version featuring differnt ingredients.

marmite is so not identical to vegemite, marmite has this taste i cant rly describe but it tastes a lot better than vegemit imo; havent had it for so long though like you said due to those quakes
