As many of you have already noticed, queue times have exponentially increased. When 20 twinking first took off about a week ago, queue times were around 6 minutes. I'm writing this as I sit in a 20 minute queue. The reason for this increase in queue times is largely because of graveyard camping by the alliance (though this post should be taken into consideration by both factions).
Some common misconceptions about graveyard camping:
WRONG: A fast 3cap win will grant more honor (in most cases) than kill farming the opponents gy.
WRONG: Camping the graveyard is the main cause of the recent increase in xp-off queue times. Players (especially trials who don't have much experience) are not going to bother requeueing when the past 3 games they've been endlessly shit on at thier spawnpoint. It's not fun when it's happening to you, and it's not fun for them when you're doing it to them.
The necessary fixes:
FIRST- A macro should be made by all capable 20's who read this post and used at the begining of each game. The macro should be something along the lines of: Hi guys, let's work together and win this game. Stay away from the enemy graveyard and focus on flag caps!. This will help newer players stay focused and hopefully knock some sense into the brainless twinks who don't read these forums and "liek pwning noobs at thier gy".
SECOND- Anyone not willing to cooperate should be immediately added to everyones ignore list. Blizzard added a feature awhile back that makes it so anyone on your ignore list will never be added to your random dungeon group. This will make life harder for the gy farmers as they won't be able to get into random dungeon groups in any reasonable amount of time. It is important that everyone works together when adding offenders to thier ignore list. Also, it will make chat clear of any nonsense they want to babble in bg chat from then on.
In conclusion, we can reduce the queue times by a large amount by following a few extremely simple suggestions. Thanks for reading ~Freenin.
