Its a thick, salty, meat paste you can either make a soup/broth from or spread it on toast... I love it on crumpets or toasted and buttered bagels.
Created to supply armies with heartier and meaty flavours it's stuck around since.
well, i enjoy toast/bagels with Bovril on one slice and peanut butter on the other, slap em together as a sandwich. Amazing.

Agreed! My mom for my birthday got me habanero marinated and stuffed olives. I love spicy foods, I put the dabomb and last dab on tons of my foods, but those things, they were insane.I buy the ones with garlic so good.
