Goodbye to all the 24s who plan on quitting after 5.2

You're fighting a mentality that people are self aware of.

Why did I play my 24 tonight? To one shot bads. To one shot goods. I don't know the difference because I'm one shotting them and that's why I do it.

As fun as it is to do endless dailies instead, or play an alt which is pretty much impossible with the way end-game works nowadays, I'd much rather spend my time killing trial players when I'm Valor/Conquest Capped and Raid locked. It's fun. It's especially fun reading these forums to see my good work. I'm ruining these kids days over the 180 minutes I spend on my 24 twink 3-4 times a week. I think that's interesting that people take this so seriously, and it actually adds to the fun. I feel I'm entitled to do it because I pay for the game, and you don't.

The difference comes with whether or not players like you want to get over it, seems like you choose the latter. Chew on that.

Do we deserve it? Damn right. We pay for it. Yes, this bracket would not exist if f2p wasn't around, but it is, so we exist. Everyone who rolled a 24 did it for one reason, to beat the crap out of 20's. We all know this even if some of us deny it. If we wanted competition, we would level to max and pvp then.

I'm a 24, and I like to smash 20's. Be honest all you other 24's.

I'm okay with 24s paying to have fun pwning a bunch of 20s for the fun of it (and deserving to have fun that way), as long as they realize that that's what they're paying for and that's ONLY what they're paying for. They're not paying for pride or a sense of accomplishment, they're just paying to pwn 20s for fun. And as long as they don't feel that they actually deserve it when they win against a team of 20s, or that their achievements in pvp combat can serve as any measure of skill on their part, even if they actually are skilled and play skillfully. It could be totally different if they were f2p 20s, who really knows?"

"I'm an f2p and I'm okay with 24's as long as they know they have a huge advantage and don't think too highly of themselves when they beat 20's.

And as long as they know that even if they're skilled it really goes unappreciated because of that advantage.

And as long as they feel terrible aching shame when I defeat them.

You can complain about 24s and tell them to reroll 20s, or you can farm swiftness potions, learn some tunnel/roof jumps (and glitch spots *wink*) and play smarter than the 24s.

But as an f2p you'll never see a glorious comeback defeat against a bunch of Goliaths (24s) unless you're willing to sling some stones (instead of afking and coming to the forums to complain)."


If both of you admit that you play 24 to beat up 20s, I don't understand why you expect f2p's NOT to complain or, in my case, to celebrate the day that our disadvantage gets a little smaller. If 24's play to beat up 20s, shouldn't 20s resent that? Shouldn't we be vindictive? Aren't we the underdogs? Shouldn't we be happy that we will soon be able to cast Dominate Mind on you?

I may be misunderstanding you, but you seem to be contradicting yourself. You play 24s for the advantage, and yet you want me to not lash out at you for using that advantage? Nevermind the fact that this thread is mostly meant to be in jest and in fun, you still took it seriously.

You acted as if I was complaining, when I was merely threatening all 24s with my cute, vindictive wrath, and then in response to you I elaborated UPON that desire for wrath and why such wrath was instilled within me.

Well played. I've done that before too, where I started out posting seriously, and then when I realized I was wrong started acting as if I was trolling the whole time.

The fact remains, you WILL be getting your mind dominated in 5.2 by me.

If anyone else wants to troll me you better hurry up and do it here, cause I'm going to be doing AALLLLL the trolling in 5.2
 
This still leaves out lvl 21-24 abilities + gear and P2P enchants... So not 100% even grounds. But I guess a step like this was bound to happen - considering SWTOR did it - and Blizzard recently stole CRZ from GW2.

They have been known for a long time to merge some of the more popular ideas from other games into their own though. So I suppose this comes as no shock to anyone.
 
best thing thats happened to low lvl pvp in a long time. this will lead to twinks being allowed back in xp on, and i can go back to a real bracket and leave f2p's to play druid wars.

inb4: mialo jumps ship back to 29s. predicted here 1st!

also, it's only base stats that scale up. 20s just lost crit, resi, haste
