  • To play both factions. I normally build clones of each class I play. One on each faction. Some* days I'll switch to the losing faction to try and balance out games. Other* days I'll log to the winning side because losing just isn't "fun" when it gets to double digits for games lost. Also, I'll log to the other side if I see some friends online that I would enjoy healing. Lastly*, I'll log to the other side just to spite someone who macro spams me in a negative way.

i have multiple toons on both factions... just play whichever u feel like playing at the time and not worry about what other ppl think =)

Id say its a good idea. Balancing games is what makes people continue to queue. Many times I've quit queueing because horde has 5 resto druids 5 games in a row, vice versa, or teams aren't playing as a team etc

Good to have a lot of tinkes, to select exactly the twink you feel like playing at a given moment :) Also, having duplicates is really cool because you can still play the role/spec/class you wish, even if you feel urged to log to the losing side. Though, I have to say I always rather play my horde druid than alli, because of having so much more gear and shitz... And it being my main twink ofc :)

Oh and also what you said, you can also log to another side to play with friends, that's one great thing to be able to do!

I think this idea is just fine, I usually play 1 on winning side then 1 on losing side or 2 on winning side then two on losing side etc

I only play the most OP classes period.

I balance in my own way, sometimes I log my shitty geared rogue from BC because im bored, sure that drags the horde team abit down :p ... on a more serious note it would be nice to gear it some day

As long as you don't switch to the winning side all the time, it's a good idea.

I'm probably going to have 2 monks, one on each faction.

Why would this be a bad idea? It increases flexibility within the community.
