A new expansion typically brings new characters with it. This is especially in Legion because of the new class being introduced. There will be many new Demon Hunters and some will want the biggest bags available. Not just their inventory, but their banks as well.

Additionally, the changes gathering professions in general make it likely that more players will be willing to spend time gathering materials. A player who devotes a good amount of time to farming will almost always want the best bag available for the job. And, from what I have been reading online, it seems that Fishing will be a decent source of gold too. I have made a decent amount of gold on our beloved home twink server on fish and cooking those fish.

Generic Bags

These are the best two bags to start stocking up on. They don’t have the limitations that profession specific bags have. They will be also be bought en masse from players who want to upgrade the inventory and bank space for their new Demon Hunters.

Assessment: Make as many of these as you can, as quickly as you can. People always need more bag space. This is especially true given that a new class is being added into the game. The Demon Hunter class will start with a decent set of bags but many players will want to upgrade as soon as possible. This is the biggest bag available for us to craft right now and is the best bag to stock up on. My speculation these may increase 50% to 100% in price in the first two weeks depending on supply and demand.

Pros: Almost a guaranteed sale. Fast, cheap and easy to make.

Cons: Lots of competition. Many people will focus exclusively on this bag.

This does limit you to one bag every 12 days but every sale counts. http://www.wowhead.com/item=114821/hexweave-bag should be the priority, no question about it. But some people will be willing to settle for a slightly smaller bag.

Herbalism Bags
The best choice is the http://www.wowhead.com/item=54446/hyjal-expedition-bag.

Legion is bringing some changes to gathering professions. I mentioned this in the part of the preparation guide. Herbalism will also benefit from the change to gathering nodes. It may create a more welcoming environment for players to try farming for materials which will increase a demand for bags to assist with that goal.

All characters will have to level up through the Broken Isles. Many players will be interested in gathering any herbs as they do in order to gain a small boost in experience and to sell for whatever gold they can get.

All profession bags also face a huge problem in stack size. Most items now stack up to 200. It takes a significant amount of time to gather enough herbs that the few extra slots offered by bags will actually be worth the investment.

Risk: High

Recipe Obtained: This recipe can be taught by any Tailoring Trainer that is not hostile to your faction.

Both of these are sold in small numbers and are often very expensive.

Assessment: This bag has one advantage that no other profession bag does. It is the only fishing bag available. The only competition that this bag will face is from the generic bags. But it is larger and cheaper than either the http://www.wowhead.com/item=114821/hexweave-bag or the http://www.wowhead.com/item=82446/royal-satchel. The recipe and crafting materials are also very easy to obtain.
