EU+US Glass cannon - I need some advice :)

I have a level 29 Priest that I haven’t played for the best part of 3 years, I’m wondering if glass cannon is still a viable gear setup?

If not, what gear setup should I aim to collect?

Going by the armory in your profile, its a disc priest (spec is important).

Since you'll be targeted as a healer, you'll want to balance your healing power with your survivability. If you get focused, do you have enough defenses to live long enough to keep yourself alive? If you get opened on by a rogue, do you have enough HP to survive the cheap shot (assuming trinket is down)? While you might want to trade off a few pieces for "glass cannon" pure int - having a good bit of stam/verse is super helpful. So its really up to you if you want to use spellpower goggle extreme or a green lens of the aurora.

Verse is also just super good since it directly influences heals, damage, ele force damage, and reduces incoming damage.

as necroaqua posted its all about your gameplay style , gear and rotation. Ive been playin disc in 19s most of the time, but if ya can master scream + self bubble + self penance a glass cannon set is viable.

Unless you have a healer healing you, you will do more damage with a max stat int/stam set because you can stay in the fight casting more spells more often. The extra damage is just not that much from glass cannon for what you lose. That is my experience.

What is fun is going shadow with someone healing you, but still with a balanced set.

For my priest i have found a pretty good balance of INT/VERS, Plenty of both to keep myself and others up and alive, really with int stacking you could get a bit more but its not worth giving up the toughness

Gear wise I haven’t touched him for a loooong time, however with everything said I think you’re right with the stamina / int instead of pure int.

Shadow could be rather nasty with glass cannon however vers could play a good factor in boosted damage.

I think intellect / vers / stamina is the best survival stat preference, I’ll play around and see what works best.
