hey guys i am having a bit of trouble trying to find some kind of list of items that have been gf'd. Also curious too if there is a list of items that will be in the coming expansion any help would be greatly appreciated!

Like Nokoda mentioned above, specifying which particular bracket would be useful. As far as I know, it is too early to know which (if any) items will be grandfathered in the coming xpac.
Other than random spawns across the World during the Pre-Legion event (speculating based on data dumps on Wowhead) and Profession/Artifact quests sending you to Old World Zones, there hasn't been any credible data to show that any part of the Old World is changing, i.e. like The Shattering did. Items generally become GF'd do to Quests being removed since the entire Town the Quest giver was standing it got destroyed.
20-29 and 19s is what I'm curious about, I appologize I thought I had said must had slipped my mind

I got a Blackened Defias Belt in the salvage box a couple days ago. So that is not exactly GF but you have to have a 100 to get.
Semantics but not a 100, only a Level 96+ because it requires 96 to do the Salvage Yard Quest chain.
Large crates of salvage (where the item comes from) can only be obtained from level 100 garrison missions, so you're wrong.
Both Crate sizes can contain all manner of (sub Level 100) gear. The Big Crates can contain Level 100 gear including the 665 BoE's, I'm not wrong. I Twinked 99 for ~5 months and got MANY low level items in the standard crates.
Crate of Salvage - NO Level requirement (tech 96 for the Level 2 Salvage Yard).
Big Crate of Salvage - Level 100 requirement (LvL 3 Salvage Yard req LvL 3 Garrison which req LvL 100).
Also I should correct your comment too. Big Crate of Salvage comes from Level 95+ Garrison Missions and requires a Level 3 Salvage Yard, not Level 100 Garrison Missions like you state.

I wish they would bring back the Aquarius Belt as a BoE for all leather wearing classes. It was the first blue I ever got. Back when I didn't even know that meant it was rare. I wore it for a long time. I think that was the first quest I ever looked up to help me figure it out. Using Thottbot.
My bad on the mission requirement of big crates, but there's no recorded evidence of regular crates dropping the belt. Unless you've gotten one personally and ss'd it, or someone else has, it's likely from big crate only.
The drop rates in either Crate on most of the old stuff is literally 0.01%. We could go YEARS without having certain items drop. Both Crates can drop anything sub 100, ONLY the Large Crate has the chance at dropping the vast majority of the Level 100 items.
