Are you serious, all this hoop jumping, the money you pay, the queues and the exploits just so people can kill levellers is down right embarrassing. If you have a method that allows you to jerk ya lil peen while killing green wearers keep it to yourself, this site should not be allowing the spread of methods that allow people to flout blizzards TOS.

Isn't the entire point of playing f2p or making vets so you can bg and naturally play against levelers, other f2p who are shitty and don't know how to gear, and the like? I don't see why people dislike it other than 29s shitting on your parade. I've only had my sub out for like 3 days so far and I've only ever ran into like 3 twinks on either team. Most of the people in these 20 bgs are levelers too. On my 70 I ran into more twinks glitching than I have running into 20 twinks. /shrug

One involves playing the game as designed, the other involves exploiting.
I'm openly fond of queuing into levelers. I see no problem with that or the desire to do so.
It's the exploiting I have a problem with. It's the tantrum throwing and sense of entitlement that's pathetic.
Folks should move on and adapt or quit.

The sad part is most people adapt by not playing the game. I mean exploiting is never good, but blizzard seems to have really shitty decisions. At least classic is soon!

The moment twinking involves the use of exploits it should die, people should not have to rely on crashing their wow client, blocking data packets etc just to get their moment of PVP. If they have to resort to that it should not be celebrated or discussed as it is against blizz TOS. No if's or but's Blizz killed twinking for most brackets except for the 20's and 110's.
Don't look at it along the lines of "twinking is about getting the best advantage whatever the method" and justify your cheating that way, as that is exactly what it is, cheating. If people dont like Blizzards changes perhaps their games are not for them and they should spend their hard earned money on something else.

Blizzard making bad decisions doesn't justify exploiting. If you find you can't live with those decisions, it may indeed be time to quit.
I'm all for having fun and finding unique and interesting ways to make this particular game fun.
But when folks find themselves repeatedly crashing their game just to pvp in a specific bracket on a specific toon, it's time to step back and ask why
It's alot like drinking. Tons of fun but if you're spending your rent money on booze, you have a problem

People have been exploiting twinks since Classic though with Zul'gurub enchants. You probably have an enchant on your shoulders right now.

@Linstead Pointless to waste your time, as long as it doesnt hit them theyre playing the moral apostle. Just leave it and support any f2p & vet bad blizz decision, and if they do something similar to play their bracket go in their forums and tell them how its a shame to exploit and they should rather quit the game than still try to play their bracket

Don't really know anyone back in the day who would twink to vs other twinks.. me along with alot of the EU 70 community would specifically que bgs to farm gys and make lvlers eat shit. We would leave the srs 70v70 stuff to 2v2s,3v3s and 5v5s.

this topic had been divisive .. same, my modus operandi has always been unfair play .. ive been a lone player farming lvlers for as long as i can remember, .. and would go through great length to do it .. i am working on 8 lvl70 at the moment (4 hunters, 4 blooddks) .. gearing them to max, and i think it will take about 2+ months just to competely gear these 8 to play with the lvlers in the 70-79 bracket .. it is easier for me to gear in 4s because i would use a higher lvl to run as the 5th when grinding gears, gears that dropped can be shared which speed up the process, the only slow part for the DKs are the daily single dungeon for BC heroic gems, and when they are all lvl80, i will do it again for the 80-89, and 90-99 and 100-109 bgs, with the splitting of xpoff and xpon, this will be the only way to farm lvlers with max twink gears

Funny I remember ‘back in the day’ when 70s had its highest population since BC.
This was Cataclysm and BG and arena Qs were every 2-3mins any time of the day and forum threads would cap out every week. AV would pop at least once a night and twinks would literally only face other twinks, the concept is not new nor was it the minority of the player base.

I remember the flood of thx, ur the best, etc in chat.The PTR was were the twink competition was main at. Everyone copying their toons over to do arenas with players from different battlegroups. It was like the Twink Super Bowl.

I was playing end game during late cata, I'm talking about wrath all through til FL release. I was maining a 70 blood with well over 100k hp fully buffed. Was absolutely ridiculous how overpowered things were. I'm aware that there were 70s doing 70v70 things, I was doing rbgs here and there, but I'm just saying that from what me and alot of the people I was surrounded with were doing mostly, it wasnt just that. We were more interested in annihilating lvlers, stalling bgs and wpvp.
Loved rated arenas though. Still remember how moist I was after receiving my first 2 brutal glad pieces. One of the best wow days ever.

At this time I didn't know about sunwell and pve gear. I was full concentrated to farm brutal gladiator gear. Like u said best wow days ever.
