Generally Enjoyable PVP For Over A Week?!?

Masara

Legend
I'm glad I didn't stop playing. Sort of surprising, but there you go. Not sure whether this actually a good thing or not. Are other people generally happy with things?

Games haven't been so one-sided, and there's been more of a variance in the number of 24s about. Having a decent connection for most of the time might have made a difference, too. Just a shame that Halaa has been in Horde hands in a week when I've had more money than I can spend.

Been pleased to see the number of Alliance people defending from the start, too. Okay, it often devolves if the Horde get our flag out of the base, but numerous people seem to have realised that they can get a good number of HKs from attackers, which negates the "need" for farming. Threatening to drop the flag has also had a small effect on reducing farming by our side, too.

By the way, if you see me being more undergeared than normal it's because I thought that it would be a good way to try to make up for any disparity of 24s in our favour. Masara carrying the flag in elf form wearing a Lovely Purple Dress is generally a sign of sympathy for Horde that are getting thoroughly battered. Note: I won't show that much kindness if they have 24 rogues.

I came back after a year and I like games on alliance more than I did in cata. That narrows down to WSG tho, AB is still a mess, I think in WSG it's easier to outskill/outsmart 24 disadvantage

I definitely still like the game. After MoP Im enjoying the fact that if I unwillingly die, I know that its clearly just because of my strategic mistake. Also long lasting battles are fun sometimes. Imo MoP is much more about strategy and good teamplan than cata.

Only thing I hate about MoP is the failing of enhancement shamans. Don't even try to argue this unless you played one.

:/
my pug win/loss ratio is absurd. i've won 1 out of 6 games yikes.

wtb objective players for alliance pl0x

I still enjoy the game kinda. While i probably won't be giving blizz any of my money ever again. f2p is generally alright. Gets kinda lame when you've played for a while but that's just my opinion.

I like the way you think. Good to know there are some 24s who roll 24s for reasons other than farming the bracket for kbs.

I've only had a couple games out of hundreds where people played good start-up D. I wish it was more common.

/tickle <3

played some games on my survival hunter and they're pretty amazing fc's
the mobility from post haste and the awesomeness of explosive shot is just tons of fun

posthaste is definately BiS since it's what helped me kite 3 people(2druids xD) while waiting for my team to kill the efc

but on a side note i've had some pretty intense games tonight and i'd like to thank everyone that joined me alliance/horde <3

Shhhh! Don't give away the secret.... Everyone knows hunts are horrible fcs duh :p

Rdruids and prot rerolls should always be the only fcs. Hunts can't fc effectively

Shamans are solid fc´s aswell, solid hp, talents are pretty defensive and can stack resi without dropping too many stats, and not to mention have more armor than moose druids.

the only thing i REALLY miss from cata was rogue mobility. Not having sprint is just pathetic and with the loss of shadowstep i find it considerably harder to kill secure. i cant tell you how many times during cata i managed to come into a a group fight late and from 25-30 yrds just shadowstep in to finish a healer. especially in pugs where team play is extremely rare i found it invaluable to be able to have such instant mobility to a target.
edit: also shadowstep kicks for healers :/ i prefered rogues have much more control/mobility to the current higher dmg

Your signature is disturbing.... what in God's name is he eating off of himself? In response to the Topic I'd hope PvP would have improved a little. If it hadn't, well it has no where to go but up.

Well, things have gone downhill over the past three days. Several times we had 5 24s per game, although we did beat them once.

Maybe they read my threads specifically in order to spoil my fun...

Masara please do try and change your running pattern with the flag, it's getting quite boring........ty :)

I've made a horde 24, but I play objectively.

Being new to the bracket, the lack of offense sometimes is frustrating, with myself being the only one working toward a flag return. But i catch you eventually! :)
