It requires 1 blacksmithing to have the sockets so no. They will raise the level req on it to slap the nerf when/if blizz finds out and cares/hates twinks.

edit: naked... i for one see the potentional for a positive outcome with the use of these gems, rather than looking on the negative of it which everyone seems to be doing,
this LIKELY wont be fixxed till MoP, so if we assume that why not USE this TILL MoP, seeing as it has a positive effect on the bracket. (and MoP might not)

Honestly, it doesn't matter. This bracket is so beyond broken that a couple of gems aren't going to help, or hurt anything.
