BFD was a "new" quest, thats why players who had already done it, were able to do it again. The ring quest is the same quest with edited flavor text. So like i said, the name is grandfathered, but the item not so much. Same with RFC poop loot. Although since it wasnt tied to a quest it never really mattered anyway.

Yea I'm going to count that as 2 separate items. I'd want some one who had an old item to be able to find that, even if the stats are the same. Cuffs of Black Elements - Item - World of Warcraft and Crystalline Cuffs - Item - World of Warcraft work the same way.

Can we get confirmation the rings scale exactly the same?
