Gear in legion?

Atm 1ilvl = 1% change in stats, in legion 5ilvl = 1% change in stats. Overall there wont be a large difference.

5 ilvl = 1% was the original number that Holinka gave off the top of his head. 0.1% per ilvl is the latest quoted amount.

Yeah, that's from August. That's the number Holinka pulled out of thin air as an example.

Legion PvP Preview - World of Warcraft

"For every point that your average item level increases, your pre-determined PvP stats will increase by 0.1%."

That's from December 16.
Yeh so they have decided on the ratio, like that was just a very quick estimation but atm 1ilvl is 1%change in damage. Now they have made 1ilvl is 0.1%change so legit the difference between a fully geared guy and a non fully geared guy at 19 will be like 1%

Anyone have videos of the 70 poison on lvl 19 daggers? Sounds crazy

The question is....
Will fully upgraded heirlooms be top ilvl?
As I, and others, have stated. We will just have to wait for the PTR to get a firmer grasp on what this will mean for lowbie levels.
Have a wonderful week!

ilvl advantage is stupid as shit. Just going to throw that out there. We need to all jump on their asses.

Why don't they just keep scaling as it is, and just remove enchants?
I just watched the video, and it seems to me like Blizzard is afraid to make the radical changes they need to take this game to the next level.

They basically say something to the effect of "in order to balance pvp, we need to take gear totally out of the equation", but then in the same breath say "but we're going to leave a little bit of the gear in there imbalance it a little bit".

Blizzard is like someone trying to quit heroin, but then taking a vicodin once a day because it's a tradition.

They need to just accept the fact that PvP and PvE need to be their own separate game modes. If they try to do things with half-measures, they'll end up with the Obama-care of PvP.

You all have to realize this game is over ten years old. They keep putting bandaids on small cuts that should have been fixed before the game was released. Bandaids can only go so far. At this point, they are milking the cow for all it is worth. There were more efficient ways of doing things when the subscriptions started to decline. But Blizzard chose the the cost effective route. And long term it hurt them. In turn, it made the game a worse experience. And in turn they loss more subscribers. But, they might not have lost more money. And that is the name of the game after all isn't it? For companies to make money. The only thing that keeps WoW afloat is loyal, long term players. For the first time since Vanilla I am seriously thinking about not purchasing the expansion. I generally have bought it by now. But, it just is not offering anything for me that I want. That is not to say I won't continue to play or may change my mind in the future. My accounts are paid up for quite some time.
I just hope that instanced lowbie PvP is worth playing. Or that professions are worth doing.

Have a wonderful day!
