Hello all,

I've had some thoughts and wanted to share them about the bracket. A bit about me for those of you who don't know me, I started F2P quite a long time ago (can't remember exactly, before Cata though).

It's been really bugging me lately seeing a lot of once really nice free to play characters go "veteran".. a LOT of people. Back in the days there was a great pride about the bracket, it wasn't just about gear and playing. You had a huge community of people who strived to have the best gear and do the best plays, there was huge competition. Everyone knew everyone, world PvP was a thing, meeting up with a massive group of friends was a thing and it was very fun. You had the F2P's and then you had the P2P's. Almost every single 24 was frowned upon by the F2P community, it was a F2P bracket and you had some P2P's coming in and ruining the fun without putting any proper graft into.

The whole point of this bracket was you could play for free and in order to have an advantage on the enemy you would spend many hours farming rare items for your twink. (Heirlooms, AGM, LFH etc..). That is what made the bracket fun in my opinion.

This "veteran" stuff is wrong. You are not a veteran you are a P2P. This bracket is no longer a free to play bracket and it saddens me. For those of you who have played for a while, where's your pride? you can joke and what not and put some smart comment mocking me but those of you who have played a long time know about the F2P pride and how it was. You are contributing to the destruction of free to play twinking.

I'm not going to achieve anything with this rant but it just saddens me to see once amazing F2P accounts ruined with this "veteran" stuff.

The old f2p bracket died a long time ago, and it will never be the way it use to again. move on.
 
where is your fucking pride when you dont even pay 5bucks once for a game you enjoy for many years?but hey, crying about p2ps will bring you a few likes here so your thread isnt 100% waste

"f2p pride", im since mop beginning in this bracket (so no idea how it was in cata) but what you describe as f2p pride should be called f2p shame, rolling fotm in every single patch or 10ppl premading vs randoms..it was once the f2p bracket..now it isnt anymore, deal with it or keep on playing your retarded rmd at endgame and faceroll to gladiator

I don't know about the fun being ruined. I certainly had a blast, sorry my fun got in the way of yours :p

Also how were you a f2p twink before cata? Wasnt it like summer of 2011 they made the change..

First of all, I play Warrior/Mage/Monk (WMM) at end game.

Secondly, you are clearly ignorant. You even said it yourself "im since mop beginning"

I have really bad memory, I don't remember exactly when I started I just remember playing when 85's came out If my memory serves me right. I was like 14-15 or something. (Petty thing to pick up on though, well done)
 
im not ignorant nor stupid(cry more about my grammar please), i dont have any problems with f2ps.. only with retards like you, talking about "pride" and shit for playing f2p and insulting every single vet/p2p in this bracket.. play whatever you want, if you dont like this bracket because there are less f2ps left than once ago, move on or roll on aggra and wargame with f2ps only
 
I would not use the word "wrong" for those who play vet chars. I'd rather say "comfortable". Why ? Simply because the fun of being twink is completly missing.

The heirlooms should be used with parcimony and even more the enchants...

By the way, I get and understand your point.

I get your point. Since vet introduced i switched also for vet twinking.
But you need to look on things from different angles. It's like you say : "where is pride of MoP lvl 90 players who leveled to lvl100 when WoD came"? I mean, you can't rly say that, but you got a point.

Things changed, blizzard introduced new thing, and people moved on.

I liked f2p, and enjoyed most of time, but since then, most of time I que solo, and personally I don't like when shit 29s players 1 shooting me, just because of gear or level difference. Veteran twinking giving you opportunity to close that gap as much as possible, and now, when I que, 29s run away from me.

Main problem on this level is that gear make huge difference because lack of spells. Also you got a lot more variation in gearing and enchanting as vet.

But at the end of the day, everyone should play what they like and what makes you happy

Come to 19s where there are no smelly 29s,.

I understand what you are saying, but this bracket is a mutant and you got to evolve to fit. Back in cata when I started playing, I realized my 1st toon was a op hunter, so I created a rshammy.

When I moved to BwL, it was supercool to roll underplayed classes and specs, but WoD came as a tsunami and things had to change. My prot war had to respec, my ele shammy is in the freezer and my enh shammy is only another one among several.. (we used to know every enh shammy by the name before wod).

I suggest you to pay $5 once, get your looms and enchants. Use it when you think you should, when you think that the match isn't even to make things more competitive. Or else you will probably end up getting frustrated about the bracket and leave. Surf the tsunami, don't try to swim against it.
 
Six months ago all of these " vets" were cursing the enchant users.
The hipocracy. And I foretold of the day that trials would turn their backs upon other trials given the chance. And it has come true! Kek!
Now about those lottery numbers...
