FoTM classes and tiers (for now)

Lol destro still fun, but no backdraft makes cb abit useless w/o sticking a full fear only tried a couple duels so far also not able to hit 29s in skirms made me giggle
 
I wish I could say the same for hunters, they are pretty damn boring now at 20! No interrupt, no silence, no DoT. People will stop playing hunt because of how shitty their arsenal is, not because they are no longer over powered. Even those who love the hunter class.. You've gotta be pretty keen to want to keep playing

Well i still play rogue even if it's boring as hell :))

demonology lock is extremely strong from times tested. Someone compare damage to destro lock because atm I think demonology lock might be doing more damage if you use metamorphosis correctly

I think people are under the impression that hunters are still not topping charts, which isn't the case. They're really boring to play now though.

F2P feral IS deadly ... can kill any1.

This pretty much. On the PTR i could at least heal through it and hope to not get crit on but on live i have no chance on my ret. Hard to stay topped off against 1.7k crits (outside of bgs) I'm not sure why they were buffed, as they weren't under powered at all throughout MoP. I haven't seen much QQ or Rage on the forums either, so i don't think they'll "fix" druids anytime soon. Not that blizzard gives a shit about feedback.

How would you say does feral fare vs arms warriors in BG (1vs1)? My feeling was arms were though, but haven't had have enough opportunities to test this properly.

Also it seems harder to take down resto druid with feral, but it might be just my impression. I have to get used to the longer fights.

Overall, I find the fact that people aren't 1shotted (in particular by hunts) very enjoyable.

Warlocks are seriously stronger than hunters? That sounds amazing.

lack of scatter shot, which was key in stopping warlocks is gone, i made a post a month or so ago on this from experience in leveling BGs on how strong locks were before hunters got scatter, also played around with not using once i got it.
 
If you want to play healer, try a shaman. Healing surge is bigger than the equivalents of the other classes (big change since it used to be the worst). Priests are close with shield and penance usage, along with druids (a bit weaker but with HoTs to compensate). Holy Paladins won't show you big numbers, but they 're always viable, especially if you use your now defensive Denounce effectively.
 
The list is basically on par with what I would say.

Fury is tier 1, though. It has higher single target damage than Arms; to the point where you can potentially solo a healer.

That is definitely a quality that a tier 1 DPS should have.

Also, Marks + Survival hunters are VERY strong. They may be minimalistic now, but discerning the good hunters from the bad is much easier now in my opinion. Just because a class has less mechanics doesn't mean that it doesn't take skill to play, or that good players can't make it vastly stronger than bad players.

They are definitely Tier 1 - both of them. Their damage relative to other classes is still very high. They counter a lot of trouble classes, as well. Marksmanship puts out enough pressure to oom healers fairly quickly, especially with MS pet. Survival has a very strong focus dump.

People very mistakenly associate the number of buttons with how viable a class is. Let me reiterate that that is the incorrect way to judge a classes' viability. I have seen SO many F2Ps now talk about how bad Arms is. That's absolutely incorrect, but based on the false notion that Arms needs a rage dump to be viable. Arms in MoP took very little thoughtful play to be successful; the good Arms and the bad Arms had about the same impact if they were geared correctly. They had very few variables to keep track of and had no need to make any difficult decisions that effected gameplay (which is basically the heart of PvP).

Now, Arms has to keep track of Rend timers, MS timers and MS targets, Rage maintenance for Execute, Battle Stance for Rage Generation and Defensive Stance for damage mitigation, Thunderclap peels, Charge peels, Rend Finale ticks in conjunction with Execute, etc ad infinitum.

It is a much better and deeper class, despite "losing buttons". There is more to PvP than the number of keys you can smash.
