EU+US Foamspittle Staff [E] Upgrade Q

Hello all, I'm trying to figure out if I need to farm this on the character or if I can farm this on lets say a level 120.

I know it scales so I'm going to assume that if I farmed it on a 120 it would scale drop to 60 (??) and not stay low level upgrade (if that makes any sense?)

if you want a level 20 version of it, you'll need to farm it on a level 20 character. if you farmed it on a 120 it would scale to 60

Off Hand: Recruit's Endgame of the Aurora / Aurora
Alternative Weapons: Living Root > Lorekeeper's Staff > Odo Ley's Staff > Any

Not sure that guide is up to date. Foamspittle is definitely BiS for mages.

I'll also note that Elywnn Forest is 1-20, so rares top out at level 20 - you can farm those pieces on a high level and it will scale to 20. But its mostly leather and rogue weapons - nothing for mages.

Yea, I ended up looting it today after about 5mins or so was super hyped. Off to enchant and wield this bad boy.

Up to 14 greens. My new method is log on, ensure that I'm the only person there, kill as many as I can until I get a drop, and then i log off.

Tip for those farming: turn PvP on. I know this may sound dangerous, but nobody will be there if you turn on PvP. This is mostly due to the fact that you can't turn on PvP until level 20.

And if you do run into someone they're unlikely to be higher than level 25.

Dude, this helped a shit ton, and some level 30+ guys tried to kill my shadow priest. Long story short it didn't work out for them, lol.

Count is 17 green foamspittle, and 1 blue.
