First BG in 6 months! :O

It is fun when one of these 1k-fotm-huntards runs up to you thinking he can faceroll a holy pally and then gets Exo-spammed to death.

This has been happening to me alot these days, it's either that or a noob rogue that wants to 1v1.

They're like "Oh a pally, let me just aim shot. Damn, stunned. What?...Dead!?! How!?! Oh. Oh yeah. Exorcism. THATS SO OP!! FUUUU" (commence rage)

Or "Oh a pally, let me just aim shot, WTF!? pallies have force fields (HoP)!! that's not fair i'm supposed to 1 shot people." "Why am I dying? Shit i need to jump back let me find the icon to click" ::stunned, exospam, dead:: WTF PALLIES ARE SO OP!!! (logs off an makes a pally called HUNTAKILLA)

*Complains about how he doesn't have hand of freedom and he has lag*

When people go on saying this: Hunters has always been OP. Well let me demonstrate some quite hard facts.

Back in let's say 2007. I had roughly 2.8k hp in bearform in my FC set. High crits on me were 200-300 (some times 400 ambushes), and that was OMG back then.

Now, my health is just above 2000, a normal hit on me, is 100-300, and my healing is lower. Now, I've had crits up to 1k done to me, by different classes (not a hunter, but they have killed me in caster form in secs).

Thats the difference from the OP ness of a hunter back in the days. Yes they were OP, but they were possible to avoid, get away from. Not something you get time to do today. End off.

I am going to be very unprofessional and clearly state something. Those who try to play 19 today, are either retarded or a Disc priest, Mage, Paladin or Hunter. EndoffrantEU

yust find yourself a nice priest and youl be fine :)

lol comeing from the biggest mid farmers in the eu thats you and the rest of the healz gang i mean srsly nice namez

p.s. tell healzformen to l2p i'm so sick of afk'ing and still beating him

bracket is just too bursty right now.

there are multiple classes that can crit me for over 600 (got crit for 960 last night by a druid)

Feenin's tard hit lvl 10 in 2008, so I'm not sure it's fair to characterize him as FotM.

I'm curious if the Armbar who started this thread is the same Armbar with the Youtube video of his awesome 1,000+ crits from when rogues were ridiculously OP a few months ago. I enjoy irony. If it is, then suck it up, buddy. What goes around comes back around. And it sounds like you're skilled enough to get along just fine.

In fact, despite a few under-powered classes, I'm almost ready to say 19s are balanced enough right now. /equip Firebane Cloak - Item - World of Warcraft

Sure, tards are OP. And holy pallies. But, I've had ferals and mages take me down in 3-4 seconds. I've gone all out dps'ing a priest 1v1 on my tard and lost. Shammy heals may be bad, but who wouldn't like Purj on his team? Warriors get beat up in mid, but put 'em on D or give 'em heals and they do some legit damage. I returned a flag the other day: just found a corpse and a flag in Horde tunnel. I'm guessing it was lock DoTs...

I've been in WSGs with multiple-hunter teams that have lost, either faction. I think real twinks have been adapting impressively. It seems like there are more heals out there. I've been playing my rogue more due to the Aimed Shot situation. And when I've gotten heals I've been able to slash thru groups of 3-4, especially when they're FotM tards.

Friday, queues started popping at 3pm. Saturday night, queues were popping 'til 5am. And I've been in some great games. Really, despite all this supposed imbalance it seems like games have been better, not worse. Anyone who's been playing lately has had games that go the full 25 minutes and been close and exciting the whole damn time, often with a last-minute game-changing cap.

19s are actually in great shape. Sure, there are lots of tweaks I'd like. But, more pew pew, less qq. Just get out there and play.

Pick any comp you want. 5 tards/5 pallies. Let's see 'em beat Waw Tawent. The only serious imbalance I see is anyone vs. their level of coordination, gear level, and ability to play their class/position. Not being a fanboy: there are many, many great twinks playing in both factions. But, what's really lacking is the part that rises above individual talent and gets to serious teamwork over time, beyond just one battle.

I'm sure there are enough quality Alliance twinks to do the job, but not on the same server. I think we might have enough quality players on Stormrage to give WT a decent fight, but we don't yet have the cohesion and class balance to make a go of it. If I could pick any 10 Alliance twinks and give 'em a month of playing together and Vent....

edit: I'd get to choose the ten, not necessarily be one of them...

Thankyou for a good, thought out post Sharper. I agree, I play my hunter and play my warrior, and can really say that I don't favor one to the other. Both classes have extreme utility when used correctly, it just so happens that hunters can be used more easily. And in terms of games, i've had my fair share of nailbiters the past few days, good stuff :)

agree with sharper about the coordination being key.

games are always different if you have a few players that are obviously on vent or someone that is extremely vocal in chat, like pizza, on the team

Sharper said it several ways... FotM < Skill

Exactly true, too much burst, all damage needs to be nerfed, that simple, they better not introduce resilience to lower levels, that would just ruin it, just like how it ruined end-game pvp.

You're going to need one heck of a pooper scooper to take care of that pile of crap you just dropped.

They already did, since the beginning of wotlk.

Heirlooms, haliscan jacket with 15 resil, and the rare formal dangui with 20 resil before hotfix.

I have 4%resi and 2.6k... doesnt help against hunters at all. i pray to god 39s come back because then i can rape a hunter up the ass with any class( i love 39s)

To some extent i agree with Sharper, but again the opposite is true in my mind aswell.

It was rare to get outhealed on my druid (4.0.3) by team mate fulfilling the same role as me (usually D healing), but then again i feel very dissatisfied by the level of balance in the bracket at the moment. Skill does allow certain classes to perform adequately, but that does not make it anywhere near acceptable and does not put those classes in the same league as an average FotM player. This doesn't acknowledge truely gimped classes either, no amount of skill will make a shaman healer preferable to any other or a warrior preferable to a hunter in any situation.

Good thing I enjoy it, cuz the day after writing this I found myself in WSGs with terrible hunter/pally-heavy comps, lol. I still think that there have been plenty of games with balanced mixes and good competition overall, tho.

So how is healing with the nourish change? As bad as you thought, or still viable, and even more mana efficient?
