FC

Helo all, I''ve just started a F2P twink of my own, an Enh Sham, it proving to be fun as people have said.
I was just wondering if people could give me ideas for a FC. I dont really want to role a Pala. I''m lookin for something different, something which will be viable, but not easy.
Thanks in advance.

Depends if ur solo or grp queueing.
but every class works if you do it right and ur group isnt totally aweful.

Im just looking for one in general

Some oddball yet very fun choices:

mage with blink + blasing speed
hunt with posthaste and swift pots
lock with leap and parachute

Now if you FC with those and you die expect to never hear the end of it how "___ arent meant to be fcs stupid" but as long as you know you are the best FC on your team dont worry about it :) FCing is fun so dont listen to those druids that say drop I can go fast as long as you know what you're doing

Been a prot warrior FC for a while, which is in my opinion the best (alot of damage reduction/stam not to mention utility from charge and some damage), but only if you have a competent healer... ie if you are going to go pugging, I would not suggest using any class without a heal.

That leaves pallys druids and shammys... personally I would like to choose shammy, not only because no one really does it, but because the still really do have nice utility, Tstorm off roof is very nice, heals and talents arent bad either, not to mention a now movable cast LB.

My 10 cents.

for some reason no druid nor any other player has beat me to the 1st flag
they claim to be good and fast FC's but don't know the fastest route to the base... seems a bit fishy to me lol

Personally I'd recommend FCing with either a warrior or a paladin, if you're new to FCing that is. If you know how to carry as a druid / shaman you could give that a try. If you don't know how to carry with those but would like to know, learn from Poledancer (EU) or Dasha (EU) :p

^ This is very true. Hunters and mages (I haven't seen many warlocks, so can't speak for them unfortunately) are actually not as bad FCs as some people might think. And aye, very odd FCs as well, if that's what you're looking for. I've done some carrying with my mage and seen hunters doing well. However, having a healer with you is strongly recommended due to the lack of selfhealing! Keep in mind though that if you chose to go with any of these classes, you shouldn't pick the flag over a "real" FC (pala, druid etc etc) who seem to know what he's doing, peel for him instead.
The other thing Lil mentioned, the part about teammates flaming you if you die - it is also very true. :)

Good luck with your project!

Dr. Ranze - I love dem flags :)

I would say, if your team doesn't have a potent enough FC and you yourself know what an FC SHOULD be doing, then you can try to carry as any class (even a rogue should try to at least emergency-FC, but would probably be my last-resort choice, although they were good in Cata with Sprint and SStep).

Most potent FC classes have already been named, but you can always twist it up a bit with Demo-Warlock for Leap, Frost-Mage with Blink and BS, Enhance-Shaman with Wolf and move-LB, if you are p2p (24 or 20 doesn't matter) you could even try WW-Monk for FSK (Flying Serpent Kick) and Roll.

IF you are going to FC as a non-healer, I'd try getting a max effective-health set (max stam, that is, in 5.3), where as a healer, you can mix between max-SP for healing and max-EH for taking damage.

Wind walker monks are so mobile it's not even funny. Serpent kick then slow fall off tot and your already halfway across the gulch plus rolls and an aoe stun and tigers lust make you move faster than mount speed and break roots and snares
