Favorite PVP Idol(s)

nerf druid, the soundtrack was so great, i extracted it and listened to it countless times (still have it on my ipod, it's 1h long)

drakedog ost was great too, wow videos made me discover lots of awesome tunes

Getting GM was not a display of skill, more a display of dedication / connections.

I hit LT. Commander at 59 playing nights / weekends only.

videos tends to be a lot less entertaining with the death of world pvp in wow, arenas & bg footage are quickly boring (no wonder wow failed hard as an esport).

i agree with swifty.... especially back in vanilla.... seeing him 1v5 and come out alive in wsg was insane.

i agree, drakedog is a long-time legend.... and is still making vids, with insane edtiing.... watching him play PVP in cata is also a joy. definitely one of the best IF NOT THE BEST warlock ever

Mace stun anyone? Rogue + Druid in TBC? Hahaha. Nerf druids.
 
My experience is limited to 19s (stopped playing a year ago) but I was fortunate enought to play with some of the greats and here are a few I have been impressed with:

19s
Painade - in Twink Info and With A Vengeance (short lived guild) and legendary FC
Drayner - the best organizer in the bracket to date and the icon of 19s
Jericho - alot of people talked smack to him but he was a great player and classy fellow
Walle - damn good warrior and always made warrior seem viable throughout all of the changes
Bactatank - probably the best situational healer I've seen but no big ego - rare for 19s
Pizza - love him or hate him he's been a driving force in the bracket for years
 
Toez = Best all around healer in world imo his ability to play all healing classes at high rated pvp is amazing
I really idolize anyone who can play more than 2 classes at rank 1 level pvp. Most people just stick to 1 class and try to master it (neilyo, Reckful, Hoodrich) Think neilyo has a druid though though but pretty much same concept as a rogue since he plays feral

Saw it a long time ago when I was just getting into PvP and absolutely loved it. Even thought they took a lot of those trick jumps out of the game it's still fun to watch, and I did try to learn some of them while they were still available.

Niar and the "Feel the Pain" series.

Also, although a lot of people didn't like him. I enjoyed Ming and his content. He always brought interesting content and discussion. I liked his PTR duels.
