Warlocks MoP

all the "get hp" and such is nifty and all, but what i'm really interested in seeing, is how the damage on this new "Malady" will work, and also, blizzard has marked "corruption" as a "1 spec only" spell, though it is represented in all 3 specs, making me think that perhaps 2 of the specs are losing corruption.

From what I've read, malady is like a starting dot that warlocks get and is replaced by their spec-specific dots as they level up. Kind of like strike for warriors. But yea, I haven't seen evidence that locks will be much better than how they currently are.

Soul fire-conflag double crit Swag

So you get some extra burst every so often and are still a sitting duck.

New drain life looks to be about 64 health per second per target, assuming 1600ish hp for the warlock. This is good, but would need to be on a good 5 targets to match the throughput of a healer's quick heal. If the warlock gets attacked, the loss of channeling will screw with him. Also, this will constantly pull pet agro. What other ways of healing are there? And don't say health stone (lol 106hp) or lifeblood.

In short, locks are going to improve some, but aoe drain life alone isn't going to be their savior.

alakabam and dorigon shall rule yet again
