Farming for Scouting tunic (of agility) + 10 agility chest. -(rogue sets)-

Hey guys, :) umm recently i've been collecting offensive sets on my rogue, to diverse my pvp/pve play style abit and make stuff less boring, I also believe there's no such thing as "BIS" in this bracket and that everyone has a different preference/style of gameplay. I also like to mix and match the gear when im bored and come up with decent sets.

I personally am an offensive rogue, So I don't care for a stamina/resilience/dodge sets, but Ive been gathering other (offensive) sets such as:

- Haste set = 27 haste
- Hit rating set = 43 hit rating
- Expertise set = 17 expertise
- Crit rating set = %29.85 (would be 32%ish if I didn't vendor my Shadowfang spaulders and my Cobrahns boots)
- Agility stack set = 185 agility (415 attack power)

To hit "191 agility" (431 attack power), and max out my 'Agility stack set'. I Need to farm 3 difficult items:
- Doomspike (Which I vendored When I was a noob)
- Axe of the enforcer (BFD drop, very rare, good DPS/Agility)
- Scouting tunic of Agility (gives 10 agility, nothing else)

With this set I will have incredible agility (191) and attack power (431) unbuffed, of course ALL of these items are extremely rare. I KNOW where to farm doomspike and axe of the enforcer obviously, grinding my ass off in Blackfathom depths, however I DO NOT know where to farm for this "scouting tunic of agility", does anyone have any suggestions, is there a dungeon/instance I can possibly farm it from, or do I have to farm it individually from mobs, has it ever dropped for you, not the exact enchant but the scouting tunic in general?

I wouldn't be suprised if any of you guys once rolled for/got this item unintentionally and sold it due to its lack of stamina, however for my agility stack set its BIS, so please reach into your memory banks and try to remember where it dropped if you ever came across one.

So yeh. any information on obtaining or once seeing a "scouting tunic" drop would be really appreciated guys.

On an Item Like this I don't trust wowheads specifics, first of all I got this item drop once in the "stockades" yet wowhead doesn't mention any stockade drops at all.

also YOU have a scouting tunic transmog on your undead rogue, where did it drop for you? thats all I want to know :)
 
oki dok, I see the % is promising on those duskwood rares so ima start on them for now :)
 
Wowhead is only as accurate as the people using the client and uploading their information, which I assume you have never done. That said, it is reasonably accurate. It gives you a general idea. The biggest problem with Wowhead is that it can be difficult to work out what is obsolete information as far as pre and post shattering is concerned.

That isn't an issue for a random green like this. In this case, it's not a zone, continent or instance drop, it's a world drop. There's a low chance to get it to drop, and and a low chance for it to be agility, and a chance for it to be 10 or 9 agility.

People farm up greens all the time. They drop from level appropriate mobs, which for an item requiring level 20, is low 20s to mid 30s. Rares will always drop "better than average" loot, which is usually a green, and in some cases two. Some rares have their own loot table that doesn't include this. Chests in level appropriate instances will also drop greens.

As you can see Dumrum @ Nagrand - Game Guide - World of Warcraft farmed up level 20 green pants and chest, both with +10.
 
so black fathom depths mobs/chests will have a chance of dropping this? along with pretty much all rare spawns monsters in lvl 20 zones, (wetlands,duskwood ect).?

I saw that too lol, 99999 honorable kills huh..... is he tryna avoid the achievement? who the hell would log out on that much why not one more?
 
you're talking a long grind. Since its mostly lvl 22-24 mobs, i suggest grinding any mobs that also drops a pet.... Wetlands (two welps) or Hillsbrad (black cat) specifically.

you could also do the mobs in northern stranglethorn for steemwheedle rep AND a chance at two pets.

me too medan!, Scouting tunic of the monkey dropped for me in a qued stockade :), if stockades are a good place too thats good to know.
 
I got a lot of scouting stuff in hillsbrad, used it for my mog set. Got it off the rare mobs that spawn up there (giant bear, giant turtle, giant mountain lion) that I came across farming my swift pots. So far I think I've gotten 2 scouting tunics, the pants, and the boots.
 
kk thanks man, after i loot the duskwood rare spawns ill take a short flight path to stonelaton mountains and pwn thier rare spawns too, sounds legit :)
 
I started farming this set for my mog and got the tunic but vendored it by mistake so now its the only item I dont have of scouting :( but the best bet for getting it is stonetalon rares, go to duskwood rares, then go I used to go up to wetlands to farm Crimson Whelp and kill a few rares up there.
Basically just kill any lv 15-25 rares lol and who knows maybe you'll get a blue like i did in Magicians Mantle from back to back rares. gl
 
First day of farming progress:
Instead of getting Either "doomspike" or "axe of the enforcer" I got a "grimclaw"
Instead of getting "scouting chest of agility", I got scouting pants of agility :(
