Farming Bristlebark Gloves

hell yeah, i got a pair to drop for me when i was farming the diabolical plans. 6/4 greens not too shabby even though i'll gladly take the agi high gloves of the fang any day of the week.

I think what makes Bristlebark so rare and sought after is for the most pair they are just sold to the vendor, they dont have a good look so people do not post them for Transmog, and at the lvl most people believe you get better stuff from dungeons anywho. But they really are not that rare, I have 4 pairs on Greymane just from farming other items.

I've seen 4 pairs drop, well probably more but these I can remember, about a year ago. All of them came as a drop when I was running BFD, and 3 of the pairs dropped during a single run of BFD, not longer than 5min between drops. Probably just a lucky conincidence.

Lucky or not, you can see that there are like 20 different kinds of mobs in BFD that have 0,9-5% dropchance for bristlebarks. I'd recommend to farm there, if you haven't had any luck with the AH :)

Bristlebark Gloves - Item - World of Warcraft

I thought people who could use those gloves would want to use Foreman's Gloves instead?

Probably yes, that or fang. The thing is, bristlebarks are second BiS for fcing as feral/guardian/rogue/hunter/(shammy?) and not too hard to obtain. If you head for the BiS no matter what, you can always farm defias legs + gloves, which give 10 more armor, but ONLY is you use both of them.

For a guardian druid, bristlebark + legs of the fang are better, giving 0,12% more damage reduction.
For any other spec for druid, Defias = better out of bear and equal for fang + bristle in bear.
For any other leather wearer, defias gives 10 more armor

Such small differences, that they barely even count though. :p

the best place for farming them in BFD pull all dungeon and loot, got like 10 pairs in there drops like ever 3-4 runs GL, but if you have money buy on AH thats the fastest way by far ;p

agree

BFD, when i was getting gear for my F2P's i was seeing these, boots, and belt dropping alot

Got a pair off a greed roll in a BFD random about 3 weeks ago. Was pretty excited as I assumed I'd lose the greed roll. Anyways, to the OP if you want them you're welcome to have them free on Onyxia. I know you're on another server but thought I'd offer if you had bad luck farming or didn't want to.

Are these even that rare? I vendored like 6 pairs on my F2Ps.

Maybe slightly OT, but still on the topic of gloves. Do defias still drop from a couple mobs or not, and are all my woodworking gloves worth something? Seems like they might be usable for monks.

Defias gloves drop from the two neutral mobs in DM, Woodworking Gloves are better than Gold-Flecked Gloves, just more armor though.
