Congratulations! Mind filling out the details on how exactly you went about obtaining it? Which lockboxes did you get it from, and where/how did you farm them the quickest etc. It would be highly appreciated, as I have been wanting one of those for a long time now.

Let me tell you are very sad story first:
I knew that BvB was still in the game (apparently i was the only person) because i got one from a Battered Junkbox during CATA on my F2P rogue.
And... i deleted it because i thought i would stay F2P... yea
I don't know if Rotten Orchard/Roland's Doom (Duskwood) is the best farming spot but it is a damn good one!
You can pick every mob from Rotten Orchard, then go straight to Roland's Doom, since they are right next to each other.
If you are fast, you have to wait 1-2 mins for their "pick respawn".
I always opened around 48 Battered Junkboxes at a time, i just feel like that is way better than opening one at a time...
Opened over 3500 Battered Junkboxes to get the BvB.
And i consider myself being lucky as hell...
As far as i know, each dagger has a 1:10000 droprate.
The daggers that are obtainable from these Junkboxes are:
- Assassin's Blade
- Talon of Vultros
- Blackvenom Blade
- Doomspike
- Evocator's Blade

you know it drops..that is correct... I kept thinking about it one day.. a simple test I checked every junkbox on wowhead...an lo and behold they all have a chance to contain similar ilvl rare or epic dagger(lower level) or sword(higher level boxes) . Doesn't matter if it is a zone drop/world drop/ mob specific drop.
From what ican conclude, junkboxes have ''that specific and special rogue loot to them'' such as potions/vials/poisons. Apparently the way it is coded is that rare/epic daggers or swords ( at higher level and epic only) also count as ''rogue loot''. So blizzard coded a similar ilvl rare dagger( or multiple daggers) to each junkbox. But not any other world specific drop.
A good way to test- open other higher level junkboxes, for example a higher level Worn Junkbox - Item - World of Warcraft
ilvl 30 can contain a Sliverblade - Item - World of Warcraft which was essentially removed when they redesigned SM.

I'm very used to hard grinds. I'm also lucky enough to have a 71 alt rogue parked on my second account, and running Stockades has so far yielded a very solid amount of boxes per hour.

So.... I just got BvB as well. That means I got Talon of Vultros and BvB on the same day.

I wish I had changed my loot option to avoid auto loot, that way I would have taken screenshots of the loot still inside the boxes. However, the fact that I looted two unobtainable daggers should speak for itself.
