Too much hate. They pay, so they have the right to play as they see fit.
Still, i would love a cap increase to 39/40/50 or vanilla. Too bad they nerfed honor gear values, so most of the 60 pvp gear you get isn't like something challenging anymore.

They don't take that sort of thing srsly. You got to sell it to Bobby Kotick in a Forbes magazine web blurb thing. The key to getting seen by publishers is top notch black hat search engine optimization.
Anyway, with the introduction of the in-game store, I would say some of the old content going f2p is getting more and more likely.. I think the best move they could make is release the old content gradually as f2p. Start with 60, and rerelease the Burning Crusade (with even prettier belves!), Wrath of the Lich King, the Cataclysm expansions over the course of years. Big media when each goes f2p. Maybe even refurbish the zones a little, if you feel like doing something. Sell more crap and unlockables in the in-game store to pay for it.
Eventually, everything will be fp2 except the most recent expansion — which you've just herded a ton of suckers to. To get access to the newest expansions/releases there could be many payment plans, such as a subscription plan with extra (non-pvp) benefits, or a one time payment just to unlock the expantions — which could be frequent $$$.

i don't want wow to go completely f2p,because imo would ruin the way it is played and overall quality would decline. Only thing i'd like tho is if f2p got a level increase like ive said before to say 40...maybe 60? because f2p is getting kinda dull and i have found myself going back to p2p

Blizzard is still making billions a year, there's no reason for them to drop to making millions. (Going F2P then relying on microtransactions.) Not to mention Blizz has always been a company to watch where everyone is going then go the other way. WoW won't be F2P (even core) for a long time... if it ever does.

Fuck F2P. All these people saying they'd do F2P if they raised the cap instead of pay, I highly doubt that. After playing wow as long as you have having all the benefits of paying for a subscription then going right to F2P being restricted to nearly everything, for example...
1) No mailbox
2) No guild
3) No Auction House
4) No Trading
5) No whispering others unless they whisper you first
6) No inviting people to a group
Trust me, after experiencing all the benefits you don't realize you have then going straight to F2P with all the restrictions you'll come crawling back. I've played since Vanilla and tried to do a F2P many many many times and could never do it. F2P is just plain stupid. Sure it'd be nice for people who have never experienced the full version of wow, but that's it.

24 is a lot more fun then F2P. You get the same experience they do in Pvp and such, but you have no restrictions.. So you can actually enjoy the benefits of paying for the game unlike F2P's. So by you saying 24's isn't fun makes no sense. You do the same things F2P's do with even more benefits. ROFLSTOMP the Poor2Play.

As a f2p you are playing vs people with the same gearing possiblities, that isn't the case on 24.
It makes perfect sense.
Now we are getting somewhere, this is the core. you've put yourself on a peidestal because you pay and value yourself higher than the rest of the bracket and feel it is just to go and slay people.
You are not doing blizzard a favor, that is just something you tell yourself to once again feel like it is just to be on a higher level of possibilities than the rest of the bracket. But the fact is that blizzard cares just as little about a 24 twink as a f2ptwink. They are against twinking alltogheter, 24 or f2p, you're dirt.

Idiots killed twinking, as they kill everything. Twinks were one of the mosts dreadful experiences for anyone trying a bg before xp-lock. After blizz "evens-out", they give up saying that "twinking is dead" and "blizz is stupid".
