F2P bracket is really unplayable now. All my tactics/skills are useless with the widened gap vs enchanted/scrolled players. I can kite and evade then get a 3khit from a spriest...../derp
I hardly que for WSG anymore. Its face roll either way and the competitive games are very rare now.

Of course its not really the F2P bracket. Technically its the 20-24 bracket. I just refer to it as F2P due to the large community that makes the fast pop times for BGs possible.

I really enjoy PvP a lot. PVE stuff is boring. So if I were to Sub can you advise what are the great brackets to PVP in?

How are the BG pops in terms of time wise in other brackets? 19s? 70s? 90s?

1. WoWwiki really? That side hasn't been updated in ages. Please go ahead and search for any item that got GFd in cata and it will say it's still available and show old stats.

2. That was the definition. Definitions changes. The only people that hang on to that reasoning are those trying to justify themselves playing 24s.

3. No you are not right. If this was 2008 you would have been right but this bracket didn't exist then.

4. 24 Twinks simply take advantage of the fact that F2Ps play there, because they cannot compete without it. And don't reply with some bullshit bout being lazy as restricting on a p2p 20 isn't too hard.


The only correct thing you brought across is that 24s are out there.

dasha, you have a p2p account and choose to play f2p, that's your choice. the majority of f2p's (TI is not the majority) do it to play the most op class possible, farm and greed.

f2p's are them selves twinks. it's gotten so, when a real trial joins they're reported afk.

Fuck F2P. All these people saying they'd do F2P if they raised the cap instead of pay, I highly doubt that. After playing wow as long as you have having all the benefits of paying for a subscription then going right to F2P being restricted to nearly everything, for example...

1) No mailbox
2) No guild
3) No Auction House
4) No Trading
5) No whispering others unless they whisper you first
6) No inviting people to a group

Trust me, after experiencing all the benefits you don't realize you have then going straight to F2P with all the restrictions you'll come crawling back [...] Sure it'd be nice for people who have never experienced the full version of wow, but that's it.

You say that, and yet, the survey I conducted about this very topic shows that only 14% of TI-visiting F2Ps have never experienced the full version of WoW, while fully 52.6% have WoW accounts that they have deactivated in favor of playing F2P. Numbers are hard to argue against.

F2P killed twinking.

If it weren't for Blizzard's decision to implement an unlimited Starter Edition, you would still be waiting for the oversaturated 19s bracket to pop. In truth, F2P saved twinking.

You know aswell as me that 24s don't make a diffrence when he's solo but when you have multiple 24s queueing into eachother they can be game changes simply by clicking ambush or mind blast.

Wrong. All of the GOOD twinks played 20 a long time ago. Think of the elder All-Stars of your best twink brackets. They all played 20. The only twinks who play 24s are the same 19 twinks that ruined that bracket (Thanks Goma for inspiring all the garbage that followed you) or all the "twinks" who only played because they could farm undergeared levelers. I know literally zero (look at that word, "literally") "real" twinks who play 24s who don't admit that the only reason they do so is because of how stupid easy it is to farm anyone or anything.

You're really telling me Flummaz thinks 24s are balanced? Hell no. Flummaz knows he can 1v5 99% of the people in this bracket on a 24. How about Pizza? You think he thinks his 2 man farm of a 10 man strong GY EVERY game is skill based?

There are zero 24 twinks who defend 24s as a "good twinking experience." There are twinks who have no bracket to call home, who refuse to be farmed by assholes playing 24s, who then subsequently roll 24s. If you're one of those, I understand, I've done it too. I usually go back to 20s because I'd rather have an impossible challenge over farming 20s in a GY for 25 minutes a game but I can understand preferring the latter. If you're not, stop deluding yourself. 24's are the top of the bracket because of an artificial design flaw by Blizzard, and you're an asshole because someone didn't love you enough.

PPS: I guarantee no matter what bracket you played before 24s I can name you at least 3 better twinks in the bracket that play/ed 20s and not 24s.

i played it right at the start with all those "elders", now they're on p'severs or playing 24s. and at what point did i say it's balanced? i play this bracket cuz it pops, no more no less.

I can't speak to 19s except is seems from everything I have read that bracket is dead. From my experience a month ago 70 is pretty dead as far as BGs. I read that people still arena but everyone complains about 74s now that 71-74 can arena and there is no scaling. 90 is very active. I play both factions. Instant to 5 min queues ally side and 10-15 min queues horde side for those hordies who blacklist AV and IoC. For those that don't about 5-10 min queues.

Good. Yes it does but you have to take into account that f2p hunters damage is still outhealable while a good 24 hunter would eat through any f2p healer even w/o ccing.


I suppose that is true but 24s still give more a demoralizing aura. There is more joy in getting wiped by multiple coordinated players than getting globalled by a rogue/fmage/spriest because he felt he deserved to be able to oneshot people cause he pays for the game.

Totally agree with Saint, people from 19s and every other bracket only play because of Q times and most of us dont even take f2p/24s seriously because f2p is a joke, like a kiddies bracket.
