F2p Resto druid armories?

Can replace chest with BFD quest robe, legs with BFD drop and shoulders with MM if you want a set to last longer during a midfight.
srsbsns nothing faction restricted on that gear except mana enchant on chest.

Right, right. Just making sure ally didn't have any better options (even thought I was like 99% sure it didn't), wowhead has been annoyingly slow lately. Thanks for help.

Hovel diggers will be very appealing come wod but atm, nah.

Owl/Bear aren't awful either.

I think that midgear is pretty balanced, fair amount of haste, alot of spirit and good int. Tryed it in a couple of 100 games and it works rly good. Can stay mid and heal forever. Takes ALOT of hardcasting to run OOM.

Is this about what you had (besides gloves, bracers and mana on chest)? I can't remember, and you logged out as balance before I took a screenshot.

Forgive the transmog set - battle.net hasn't caught up with the gear set I'm currently in.

I've found that Stamina/Critical Strike builds are the ones that work best for me.

Haste works best during fights in which there are heavy amounts of damage going out on multiple targets. I save Lifeblood for situations such as these, which turns Regrowth into a manageable 1.4 second cast time. Learn to pre-cast your heals based on heavy damage dealing enemies' focus target, and you can make do with replacing the haste for stamina.

I take Critical Strike because Restoration Druids rely on Regrowth criticals to keep targets up under heavy pressure. Since the base-line healing for Regrowth is extremely low relative to other healers' spells, utilizing the base 60% critical strike chance to get as close to 100% as possible is a must. I've found that 15% Critical Strike chance is a good threshold to aim for.

Stamina is an obvious choice for any healer, but I think on Restoration Druids it is particularly important. For starters, being over 2k health in a battleground means that it will be extremely unlikely that you will be able to be one shot. You'll be reaching the point where most 24 Beserker buffed rogues won't be able to one shot Ambush, and most Spriests won't be able to finish you without a double critical combo.

One argument against Stamina for healers is that oftentimes it doesn't make a difference, since the extremely high damage DPS will be able to stay on you long enough to finish regardless of your health bar. But Druids have some of the best escapes in the game. Wild Charge / Displacer Beast are awesome re-positioning tools that allow you to stay up through even level 24 damage. Maximizing your health synchronizes perfectly with these escapes, since you're going to need a large health pool to even begin to use your escapes.

Currently my druid in this set sits at 2279 base health in battlegrounds, 160 spell power, and 17% critical strike. For Arenas, depending on my comp / the comp that I'm facing, I switch out haste items. But in a pvp medium where we face gigantically overpowering damage, stamina will be your best option.
