Status of 19s in WoD?

  • Hi all!

So while I was queing bg's last night, I was thinking about the activity of 19s in WoD. Then this crossed my mind...if bg's are switching back to 10-19, 20-29, etc., don't you think many people who once enjoyed their 10s will come back to their 10s, thus increasing activity in the 19 bracket? Because from how I see it, this is going to help us a TON.

Most likely I could see it, especially is the gear scaled from 10-19 you will see some really crazy level 10s

I hope the scaling will be to horrible.

I do think it will support the bracket when level 10 twinks queue again!

There are quite a few level 10-14s. I don't know much about that bracket but I think they schedule days to que against each other; whether that be arenas or wsg. Once the brackets are merged again you'll definitely see a boost in activity. People won't quit the bracket because lvl 10-14s are playing, they'll quit because of school or personal reasons.

The bigger issue that is yet to be seen is the removal of Hit rating. As stated here Blizz said you will automatically be able to hit 100% against an enemy 3 levels over you (Raid boss) but it makes no mention about how a 10 is supposed to properly hit a player 9 levels over them with no way to add Hit rating in WOD. Essentially a 10 in WOD would be missing Hit rating for +6 levels on a 19 of the restored 10-19 bracket, meaning a considerable DPS loss. TBH this is another Twink nerf, even if it's not a huge one or is unintended by Blizz. However I've looked up just about all gear to see what happens in the squish and I'm happy to say it appears like all of our 10 Twink items stay intact stat wise, we just lose damage output on weapons and armor value so it should scale very well.

When you enter a BG you will scale to 19 and you can hit.

Yah, if only they would scale everyone to the max level in a certain bracket......................

My bad I didn't see that but then again I haven't read every single thread about WOD nor did I watch Blizzcon so much to be missed there, thanks for clarification.

It's not stated but it;s fairly obvious.

In BGs level scale now. The reason for having 4 level brackets before was due to the difference between levels, now they have the scaling tech, no reason not to implement it for the wider brackets, as it's already there in the current.
