I was hoping so too but honestly with how they introduced the party sync, I wouldn't be surprised if we get less and less opportunities. The likelihood of them scaling down more zones in the future for us seems pretty much dead now imo.

Who knows though, maybe they'll come out with some weird scaling up thing. Weirder things have happened. That's kind of the fun thing about F2P. I mean getting into ICC, warforged gear, AV, death knights, etc.
 
Well, at least I've got the moral of this story:
when you can do something that you want, do it ... don't wait a better occasion, you never know what blizzard can screw up ...

Rip the 4 crocodile pets ... i was waiting to farm tokens thins year on other alts to get them, instead of getting them on last year alts ...
Would be far harder to get to 150 pets now ...

I know this is like far from pure f2p or whatever but I've been farming this for months, put in thousands of casts for this thing only to come up short (5ish thousand casts)

safe to say I almost had a panic attack seeing this on the AH

Absolutely true... but it's still infuriating how often Blizzard™ seems to go out-of-their-way to teach F2Ps that particular "lesson".

Damn, I've always loved that ridiculous fish... even more-so after the "stat squish" unexpectedly made it into my best weapon (at least until I could get something better)! :D

So I'm inclined to "give you a pass", even if you did taint this thread with a goddamn auction screenshot. :p

Hey, nice trophy! I'm surprised that nobody else has posted any of their Brewfest swag... guess I'll have to "step up"! ;)

I've managed to squeeze-in some occasional pre-dawn token-farming... but obviously the first step before visiting "the wildest kegger in Azeroth" was to don the appropriate attire (although it kinda' hurt to cancel my T-Shirt Enthusiast buff):

...but as soon as I arrived, it was interrupted by a Hozen Raider infestation! I tried to chase-away all of them by myself, but simply couldn't reach some of the "flying" ones. :(

I kept busy with the various quests (the ram-riding changes seem to have hampered my delivery-performance this year), and exactly 30 minutes later chaos erupted again... but this time it was a Mischievous Alemental outbreak! Fortunately these buggers stay on the ground, so I could actually "solo" them:

By now I had enough tokens for my first acquisition: yet-another of Blizzard's never-ending supply of SnapChat filters "themed hearthstones"!

The Brewfest Reveler's Hearthstone is actually kinda' fun... it gives you a Brewfest Hat and a pair of beer-steins, as you dance in a puddle of beer until your hearth completes:

I eventually farmed enough tokens for a second purchase, and was about to get the Garland of Grain... but I remembered that I was only one-tabard-away from another 'chievo, so the Tabard of Brew gets priority! ;)

Buy the tabard... but, no 'chievo?
Okay, make sure it's "non-refundable"... still no 'chievo?
Huh, try actually equipping it... and no 'chievo.
Oh well, at least I've got the "appearance" learned... might as well delete the damn thing.

Anyway, that's all I've had time for, how about you folks?

I'm bummed I haven't gotten to try the "Chowdown" yet... is it at least somewhat entertaining, or just another painful RNG grind?

The flying hozen made me laugh. Proud ookin' dooker for life!

Yeah, gotta have the brewfest swag yo. I was all mogged out for quite awhile but got pretty brewfest'd out. I hadn't done it in years on my F2P so I had a ton of stuff to get.

The Chowdown event was extremely bugged. I finally managed to get my last few wins by using the bugged chair. It would have two people counting for one person, so everyone would be at 1 plate while someone else would have like 9. I think they've since fixed it and made it fair. But I can't confirm.

Mobs seem to either not like your trophy or are made jello of dat swag and crush it on sight.

I also learned about the Hyper Compressed Ocean toy while I was at Brewfest. You can fish up just about anything. I went and got my own and proceed to fish a lot. I can confirm the following achievements are possible: Anglin for Battle, Scent of the Sea, Fish Me in the Moonlight (although, Midnight Salmon are very rare this way, I've only gotten 7), and I've seen people say they've gotten the Sea Turtle and the Great Sea Ray but I can't confirm myself. I can, however, confirm a GIANT STINKIN' RAT! So could be a good way for F2Ps to get some cool stuff. I've also heard rumors of gear dropping but who knows.
