Intro
I have finally decided to take care of the current problem of 60 twinking (at least try).
We've had so many discussions about what to do and what is the actual problem but none really did anything about that. Few of the major problems as I see it is how spread the bracket is and by that I mean there are a lot small guilds around different servers, lacking of horde players, unbalanced PvP and no PvP at all. Now you may wonder how this can be fixed or maybe you have a few good ideas urself.

My idea was to gather all horde players on a realm where there is a large alliance guild already, which is Ravencrest in this case and by doing that it we have them gathered of course but we will also have better chances for actually surviving and grow in size. So when that is done, we should not lack of horde and we are gathered on 1 realm. Now about PvP, as we all know, we've tried to do PvP events before and it's always a damn mess when trying to include people from different servers and that's a huge turn off, also when people doesn't agree with the rules. If we are on 1 realm, it will be way easier to setup the events, make teams and rules etc.. it will also be easier to "force" people to follow those rules. If we have a rule that says "No bonus armor" and someone still uses it, we will kick him from the event and ultimately from the guild. He will have no other choice to take part of the 60 community since we are the only ones.
In short, if we are all gathered on the same server, we won't face the same problems as we do now. There will be more control of the bracket and more activity.

Guilds
You have the choice of joining 2 guilds and the rules will be the same for both of them.
The Alliance guild <Paragons of Azeroth>
The Horde guild <Legendary BiS>

Who are we?
As you know, we are two guilds dedicated to the 60 bracket and we operate on @Ravencrest-EU. What's most important for us is the community because without a great community you cannot achieve something that require agreement and unity and without a community the bracket can't survive. In our guilds we help each other, not because we expect them to help when we ask for it but because being friendly to each other is what we believe in. With that being said we aren't social freaks.
When doing PvE/Raiding we are tolerant, we will explain what to do so everyone have a chance and Team Speak is an option and is NOT forced. When we do PvP it's about having a lot of fun. If you aren't sure about how to play your class or what gear you need, we always have our friendly members who will spend some time with you learning step by step.

Requirements
  • We don't believe there should be requirements for joining the guild because at some point it will turn out to be an elite guild and not an open guild for everyone.
  • You don't need to be Hardcore or Skilled
  • You don't need to be BiS geared
  • You don't need to have friend in the guild in advance
  • You don't need to be Rich nor Famous
  • You do have to be Social
  • You do have to be Friendly
  • We expect you to respect the rules
How to Join?
  • If you already have a character level 60 but not a member of the guild, you can go directly to step Step 2
  • If you already have a character but not level 60 yet, you can go directly to step 3
  1. Create a character
  2. Whisper ANYONE from the guild for invite
  3. Level to 60
  4. Whisper Guild Master or Officers for extra help (If needed)
  5. Take part of the fun
Social Network
The Horde Guild doesn't have a Facebook Page or Youtube channel yet but until then, they are more then welcome to use "Paragons of Azeroth"
Facebook Page "Paragons of Azeroth"
Youtube Channel "Paragons of Azeroth - Ravencrest"
Sooner or later we will have our Website running too

Class and Gear
We have different rules about Class and Gearing when it comes to Raiding and PvP.
We believe that by making rules and limits we will slowly kill the essence of twinking. Twinking is about gearing and become BiS and one cannot do that if there are limits. So we thought that we will remove all the limits that we can in PvP to make more opportunities for the for the players to be "unique" instead of everyone running around as the same race in the same gear as the same class with the same talents/glyphs. (Bonus Armor may be discussed for the specific event).
But when it comes to Raiding we also have to think about that we are a Vanilla Guilds and it's here we change our requirements to take a part of the fun. It might seem nonsense to you but this is how we chose it to be.

Classes: We DO allow Death Knight and Monks (Casual raiding)
Gear: We don't allow The Burning Crusade gear and Heirlooms (Raiding general)

You may now think "What about races and glyphs or new enchants?". We haven't seen those to have a MAJOR effect, except the WoD enchants but Gearing Requirements may change for Hardcore runs. But hey, this isn't vanilla and Blizzard keep changing the game so we can't just keep thinking this is the same old game. We have to adjust to the game since it won't work the other way around.

General Rules
  • Leveling past 60 will cause instant kick
  • Rude behavior will not be accepted
  • We only speak english in Guild Chat
  • Acceptable language in Guild Chat only

A turn-off for many people is that they think Ravencrest is dead on horde side.. but outside Orgrimmar, they are linked to Outland, Kazzak, Stormscale, Twisting Nether and so on..

It's a little dead inside Orgrimmar but they share AH with Alliance side

Is there any chance of people that do 60 twinking that play on US and form raid groups and have set PvP? I used to play 60's back in Cata through MoP with multiple people but sadly I forget them all due to the fact that everyone stopped playing 60's when WoD came out. It was pretty fun having 10 v 10 Warsong gulches full of 60 Twinks and what not. It would be great to get back into playing 60 Twinks again.

Well you can always do them yourselves but sadly the US and EU servers aren't connected, so we aren't able to do it together.

Well ik that haha, but what I'm asking is if there is any activity US side. I can't afford to pay for EU account

Ahh sorry my bad, I have no idea about US side. I don't have any contacts from there or seen any content either.. I know that they have some old vanilla players with Atiesh and Naxx gear (weapons included), that's all. :)

@Delayed You can try contact some of the people on the Arena Ladder, at a glance it looks like Tich and BB are the most active ones. Not sure if they do PvE at all though, but you can ask around

edit: you can also read and ask questions on this forum post - guild list if you scroll down

It used to be argent dawn for the biggest twink realm at 60, another one that I forget, I think it was Kel'Thuzad. We used to have set days for Warsong Premades and what not. It was extremely fun but I honestly think that none of really knew objective play haha. Hopefully word can spread and people can band together create a community (US). I'll check out the arena ladder and see the bigger realms. Would be fun to get some raids and pvp.

You should take a look at the US battleground forum. The US 60-69 community has been very active there for several years now, and have been creating their own threads in order to stay in contact. Their latest thread is this one.

Blizzard disabled my ability to post, so I cannot talk to people on those forums about things. I basically never look at those forums. Good thing a few of them linked their BTAG ahah.
