Eplc seems to be well known these days...? Last weekend I was in the 29 bracket as alliance and a few people were commenting on them. I thought nothing of it since the brackets are so close, but this weekend in the 70 bracket as horde there was a 25 min conversation in Warsong about the Eplc guild. Unfortunately most was unflattering. I was surprised people in the 70 bracket even knew who they were. Anyone else noticed the negative attention they have been receiving?

In my opinion, any publicity is good publicity. When your a 24 Guild playing in a bracket dominated by 20s, your not going to have the "smiles and dolphins" reputation, no matter what you do.
Either way I think its good that people are talking about the bracket, which will hopefully spawn more interest. I've seen alot more 24s pop up lately, and they have helped provide some more challengeing games.

I'm not part of the core premade team so unsure. I know we run a lot of 3-4 man premades with real id guys filling spots. We're just having fun. When i started doing this about 2 months ago on a Rogue i made I was usually only 24 on either side now i would say 50 percent of both teams in most cases have 24's of various gear level. I can tell you of the 100 or so WSG's i ran with guildys we have never held flag and farmed gy. Usually meet them mid and send 6-7 to gy while other people cap and move on to next game.
People always have and always will talk shit in PvP, I don't know why people treat it like it matters. If you don't belong to EPlC and you go against them, you don't like EPlC, it's just that simple. PvP rivalries are basically just like gang rivalries in that their distinctions are shady at best, usually totally arbitrary.
Eh, I don't mind playing Epic. It'd be nice if I had 24s to queue with beside Schwinke, but even then, he and I typically roll teams that aren't heavy premades.

EDIT: Nevermind, just played against a premade Epic threw together. You guys 2 capped, and decided to turtle the rest of the game instead of just capping again. Stay classy, fellas.

It does seem Horde have a higher number of 24's these days. I blame the Q times ally side. I mean when I want to come home and bg a few hours the Q's are instant and some times stretch out to a minute. Hopefully this imbalance will go away soon. The 2 minute trinket and Shadowmeld apparently are not > Instant Q's at least with 24's.

It's only a matter of time before someone's name gets mentioned outside of the immediate circle. It must be taken into account that there are other twinks here besides 20-24. There are tons of 70 twinks in WoW and I'm quite sure they're aware of the drama that's centered around our guild, it's really not hard to miss an ongoing flame war, lol. Especially on a forum as active and known as this one. (Go TI!!!

I never had the expectation of this guild being superhero's or saviors for the bracket when I joined and although some people do have the wrong idea about us, not all of us are assholes, at least not malicious ones - It's impossible to not step on someone's toes. As far as unflattering comments... it comes with the territory, you can't please everyone all the time. If anything, it's just annoying to catch so much flaq from doing the same thing that others do, but not in the worse way. When we park at the GY, we run the flag and end the game while others farm all game long. If we're ever in the spot to cap the flag, we do, unless we're practicing jumps. (Personally, I've had to b*tch at people for doing that and not ending the game as usual)

It was 3 people. And if I honestly thought we could have easily caped the third flag and won, we would have. The truth is it was a hard fought bg on both sides, one of the better I've had in awhile. And I beleived our best odds of winning were to try to turtle out the last 6 min, and we did. But to be fair, we only had 4 on D, the rest of our team was on O or derping about in mid.
Eh. The only reason we even capped one was because I picked up when a mage with 900 health got one shotted by a rogue :/
It was fun though. Enjoyed you chasing me around, even if it ended in my death quite often.
