Enchants regarding unsubbed accounts

I've read in multiple posts that after a subbed account's sub expires, any enchants that have been sent over to the lvl 20 toon can still be applied once the sub has ended, as long as they are in your bags. For instance, I've been told the best thing to do regarding weapons is to wait for sub to expire, play BGs, get the rare quality crate weapon, and apply my +9 SP enchant to that as it will be BiS after quest upgrades.

But I've now read that you cannot apply any enchant besides the few shitty ones after your sub expires, regardless of if the enchant is made and in your bags.

So, I need to confirm, if I let my sub expire, can I apply the +9 SP enchant to my weapon whenever I receive it? To clarify, I have the enchant made and is sitting in my bank as an item. The weapon will only be obtainable once my sub expires.

Seems like you cannot enchant vanilla enchants once your game time has expired. However, I made a ticket about it the other day and they jumped on my character and enchanted my stave with "Healing Power" (+9 Spell Power). Ppl have the same issue with Crusader and Minor Speed as well.

It seems that you can't apply classic enchants like 9 SP or minor speed to boots. Make sure to enchant them before your sub expires
damn you!

I see. So I'll apply one to my current weapon and get one to save for the crate weapon. Then ticket a GM about it not working.. Would that be reliable you think?

I literally just went through the process, open a ticket, and explain that you cannot enchant vanilla enchants without game time, tell them to try it for themselves, and then ask for 1 day of game time. I woke up this morning with 18 hours of subscription left and double crusadered weapons. Good fucking luck! Took 4.5 days.

My sub expired and i still could enchant foamspittle staff epic in my priest, maybe it's because i use this formula from outland enchanting: https://www.wowhead.com/item=22555/formula-enchant-weapon-major-spellpower (That is also way easier to get the materials than the other one, and give same stats.. +9 and +14 in bg's)

But yeah i remember a friend getting a adaptable blue sword on his war, and couldn't enchant crusader with sub off so that makes sense.

Any speculations as to why we are not allowed to apply enchanting scrolls from Vanilla without a sub?

no clue why, it's probably just a bug.

Yeah... But I mean, what's the reason behind it? Why would they let us apply enchants after vanilla but not from vanilla? I don't see the logic behind this decision.
Edit: Nvm, i didn't read your text, just saw the pic ^^

Locked to 75 skill. You still use vanilla enchants below 75 skill. Its not a bug we cant use vanilla. Its a bug we can use all the others, from when they split it up into expansion categories. Vanilla is restricted to 75 while the others arent. Or maybe they are but 75 is a much more significant skill in all other expac profession categories, its the max lvl for outland to panda.

Aah, good point! Didn't think about that...

before professions were split to different expansions, vets couldnt apply any enchants that were above 75 skill. now that it is split by expansion, classic goes to 300, TBC to MoP goes to 75, WoD and legion goes to 100, and BfA goes to 150. i have not tested it, but i suspect vet cant apply WoD to BfA enchants that are above 75 skill either
