Emil's Brand

The slower the wep speed, the more dmg it does. Fast 2-H are bad.

It is actually really fast, is there a class that benefits form that?

the damage of the weapon is what is important for wars and rets: 53 - 81 here.

but if you have that same damage at a faster speed, it's better for rets who also deal magical (holy) damage each time they hit.

that's why you can't really say whithout calculating it that this weapon is better (or not) than the heirloom (you must add the +power attack coming from the strength and also warrior procs (depending on your class).

i guess this green weapon for ret is really close to the heirlooms, if not better.

of course people will cry that the heirloom is not better without even showing you links or mathematics. like ferrari owner would do, if all of a sudden a lada would do as good for a price 20x less important.

Wrong. Ret damage per hit, from the seal, is normalised so that a slower weapon hits harder per hit. The same applies to all paladin specs. The only benefit to a fast weapon is %chance on hit like rogue poisons. Not to be confused with PPM, which is still better slower. Judgements, CS and TV all work the same way. The harder you hit, the harder they hit. Infact, even if the weapon damage is higher, as it is with Verigan's Fist, the BoA axe still hits harder because of the slower speed.
