Dude, you just stepped in some noob!

Is it just me or has there been an influx of tweens (between twink levels) into the level 10-19 battle grounds. I understand that due to 3.1 the 19 twink is softer but why am I fighting along side a level 13 healer in white gear. I know everyone is entitled to have fun but, for a game that takes a coordinated effort, it kind of takes the fun out when you continually get mowed over.
 
It is annoying when they are just honor farming your team yet they repeatidly run into mobs of people to be cut down in seconds. Just depends on your battlegroup I suppose but the best fights are when your team is non twinks and so is ur opposition with mabey 2-3 twinks deciding the fate of the match for both teams.

The only time it doesn't suck is when the opposing team has an equal amount of lowbies.
 
It's better when there is a balance between twinks and non twinks. I then make it a habbit of taking out the twinks on the opposing side so my lowbies have a better fight.
 
The best is when you get a level 10 in the match, rockin about 200 hp. I've seen people yell at them and tell them to GTFO, but I just figure after a couple dozen 1 shots they'll leave on their own.
 
I ca understand a lowbie at lvl 10 or 11 going "Hey, this battleground thing looks fun, i'll go try it out!", but I honestly don't understand why those people constantly requeueseveral times in a row. shouldn't getting mowed over constantly by twinks kinda deter them?

What do you guys do when you have people Qing at low levels or with subpar gear? Ignore them? Ask them to leave?



Personally, I simply (on my priest) heal them last. I'll still heal them (as long as thier health is less than a heal, which it often isnt), but the well geared players get priority.



I'd rather have a twink at 100% hp and the lvl 13 dead at the end of the fight than both of them alive at half hp.

Lol the thing is, some people are just that completely clueless as to what they're doing in the game. I had someone in a 39 bg telling everyone to stay close to him so he could tank the mobs and he was completely serious. His gear was mediocre at best and his kill count wasn't high enough for him to be a serious twink just screwing around or something. He actually thought that battlegrounds was a pve instance and he kept asking why the cows were killing him or something.



I'm not certain, but I think he was from an RP server because there was a priest from an RP server in there as well and they were running around like they were clueless melee'ing warriors and stuff. All in all it was a fail bg, and it made me question why I ever chose to play alliance in the first place... I requeued again after we lost and ended up in an Arathi Basin with the same warrior and he was saying the same thing... I promptly afk'd out and went to farm some gold.





I just think either a lot of people are clueless about certain aspects of the game or they don't really care if they're getting killed non-stop and are maybe doing it to piss others off.
 
Works both ways. My battlegroup has a lot of horde twinks, far less alliance twinks.



Takes 10 minutes to get a game. When you do, it's over in 8 and you're left wanting some competition and feeling sorry for the alliance guys who put some effort in, even the nontwinks who are at least near the top of the bracket and obviously know what they're doing.
 
i love lowbies, they make games challenging



sure, we're going to eventually lose 3-0, but man i'm learning a lot about desperate situations and where to go in FCing :D
 
While being out numbered twinks vs lowbies does suck, it does teach you vaulable skills.



Like druid said, alot can be learned from being out gunned, healed, twinked, etc.



Then after you learn those skills, you go apply them to evenly matched games and you have the upper hand, if people constally mow over teams they soften up and forget there exact skills and timing since it hasn't been needed in awhile.
 
Speaking of which what's the macro again to get the lowbies to afk out before the match begins?
 
All my twinks have started wsg at lvl 10. For me it's the best way to learn the class and all it's abilities. Quite often I will twink inbetween allso. For fun I even keep some lvl 10 twinks of the same type I have 19 twinks (mages, priests, etc) on different servers/ accounts, prevents becoming sloppy.



The lvl 10 hunter actually is pretty viable, don't think I'll bother lvl-ing it as I think I'd miss the fun of needing to run and kite very well to stay alive.



Allso I've seen some white geared low lvl's that did know how to play, eg mages stopping/ sheeping just the right players.



I don't think I've ever asked someone to leave because they are low lvl. I have never seen them play (so who am I to judge?) and besides that I think they have just as much right to be there as I do. If you pug that's what happens, simple.
 
The macro is meant to clear out some people to make room for twink friends/guildies, IMO- I wouldn't use it just to get more 19's. Aside from that it is a pretty nasty macro, some guildies did it to me back when I didn't know it and I lost my chance for a premade -_-

I have a 19 Healidin and sometimes have to scratch my head when I see one of my guys starting a one on one I begin casting my heal and before it goes off their dead.



Or



I'll see a group of my guys in a furious battle, I'll stealth and go in for the assist kill and by the time I get into the fray all my guys are dead, and I'm standing in a group of pissed of Horde.
 
Simple solution;



1) increase the amount of brackets, like this; [10-11], [12-13], [14-15], [16-17], [18-19], or this; [10-14] and [15-19].

2) make some kind of rating system, or a system that checks for the amount of attributes/stats on a queued character

3) decrease the amount of battlegroups to make sure all brackets have an as low as possible queue time.



Bliz would make up for all the nerfs if they did this imo.
