Hi tinks, I'm finishing up a druid I was working on before I quit and had a few questions. For those of you that play, how do you have your keybinds set up for switching between forms? I know keybinds are a personal preference, but I'm just wondering if there's something more efficient than I'm using.

Which is better to prioritize as a boomchicken, spell power or crit? Or is there a general middle ground I should aim for with both? My current gear setup has me at 189 sp and 20.47% crit. And in the event I need to be an emergency flag carrier, whose gear can I look at for a solid fc setup without grandfathered gear?

hey! for me I just use R(bear), F(Travel), Shift-R(boomkin but i never play balance) and Shift-F(cat) for my power shift macros. I just find those the easiest to spam for me. For your boomkin question, I have no idea. I have played Balance like twice, so can't answer that one.

I have it all bound to D, and use shift/ctrl/alt to cycle between forms, was just wondering if there was a more efficient way to do it.

After I get my belt from the satchels I should be around ~192, is that decent?
 
id say u shoudl get more i think i have 220 or so but thats with int trink, just hitcap by using spirit neck 4 stats to chest and 5 hit to boots and gear rest sp

Can you toss me a link to your druid armory? I copied Pizza and Vianco as they seemed to be the best geared and most balanced druids I could find.
 
id love to but its in some weird set atm ill tell u what gear i use in a moment

pve druid boa shoulders
boa cape 5 res or 70 arm
druid boa chest 4 stats
uninsured bracers 15 sp
woodworking/goldflecked/serpent 16 sp
vision belt
boa cloth legs
spidersilk +5 hit
argas x2
insignia + agm/int

Thanks! I can't get any Argas rings though :( I originally rolled my drood as a feral and took the agi/stam ring when I did the quest, and the only way to get the other is to faction switch. I'll probably take your ideas and work with them to make mine :)

I use f1 for my powershift macro depending on if im inside (bear) outside (travel) or water (aqua)
I use f2 for a cat form powershift macro that also uses prowl if I am out of combat
I use f3 for either a powershift bear If I dont play boomie or boomkin form if I play balance

The f keys allows for less brain lag and the ability to easily press w without it feeling awkward. This also frees up other keys for more keys that may require faster reaction time.


Using the f keys might feel weird at first but it really helps after you get used to it!
 
Just to throw this out there, Having a nice crit setup is fun to play with. On most occasions you're going to use the setup Hurrx is throwing out there. However; sometimes when teams split and there is not just a mid fight and there is O and D. It is mighty fun to get 1k crits every 3 or so starsurge cast. and 700 to 900 crits on starfire.

The crit ring from hillsbrad, wild riders gloves, and maybe even the 3 stam 3 crit ring from Jewel crafting I believe. (maybe even go as far to get BoA ring)
Those are a few items I would use.

I actually use the F keys for other things, F1-F3 are bound for Lifeblood, Berserking and bandages.

Here's what I'm using currently, I appreciate all the input! I'll have to go get that ring, and probably the lavish one.

Hurrx, while we're on the topic. Including GFered gear what do you consider the BiS boomkin set. (I know certain things are preference just wondering yours opinion)
