I believe anyone that has known me in game for quite some time knows that I am one of the luckiest fisherman out there. I have tons of great fishing stories and 95% of them can be confirmed. Some of the highlights are:
1. Getting Salty on my main in 3 days time. Catching all the rares I needed, winning the fishing tourney, catching the sea turtle, catching Pinchy, etc... All in a 3 day span.
2. I've won, prior to the new STV layout, the STV Tourney at least 10 times.
3. I've caught hats on 1st try on multiple 19s.
4. I've caught boots and hat on same toon in the same day twice. (back when you could wear the boots @19)
5. My favorite fishing day was when I caught the hat on 3 different toons in the same day, in fact in the same 51 minutes.
All the fishing luck I've had before kinda of seems boring when you hear about my last 45 minutes.
I jumped on a higher level toon on a server to win a BoA ring since I didn't have one on that particular server. In 18 minutes... I hit 40 fish. As I was hearthing, 1st and 2nd were won and announced. By the time I made it to turn in, 3rd was won. WOW. That was fast.
I went out and had a smoke and decided, even though I don't "need" the hat on my 19 priest, I would do it anyhow. This toon is on a different server. I assumed when I logged in to that server 25 minutes or so into the tourney that the tournament had already been won. WOW. AT the 38 minute mark, I see that someone just won 1st place. I looked down and I was 1/2 to 40 already. 53 minutes into the tournament, I win 2nd place and head back out to get my keefer's angelfish. 20 minutes and 40 fish later, I win 3rd place. 7 minutes later, I get my Keefer's Angelfish.

Nothing really big here, just crazy how fast someone can win on 1 server and then how long it takes someone to win on another server.
