Still waiting for people to realize that enhancement isn't a viable bg spec due to class design and will likely never be on par with other melees so we can finally be free of this spellhance, memehance, healhance, crowhance, whateverhance everyday bs:Sadge:
dont worry, you wont have to learn to play shaman. looks like hunter retains turtle/heal/FD and such at level 20.

Wasn't "spellhance" in wotlk called that because of the talents and gem/stat focus to increase overall spell damage? Since agility is directly converted to spellpower now it doesn't allow for the double dipping that was achieved back then.

The proposed dragonflight changes look amazing though, much better than the gimped toolkit it currently has.

Well in sl for sure it is not. But if those talents stay like that you get defensive, potentially double CC or improved heals and what you not. Also shorter lava lash cd and 10 stack talent (so you can save the first 5 stacks for emergency heal) would make some fighter-ish playstyle instead of wannabe oneshot with blowing all the cds, just swap all pure damage gems and stack agi+stam. Also a gap closer. And all of that on lvl 20. Just dont think of shaman as one shot class, rather patient one, spending time annoying people while they cant hit him back. Like a fury war, nobody plays them for damage

170% speed (30+ 10 minor speed + 10 SR + 20 SW), -20% dmg and a heal. Pre-wolf the kidney!

It does look good that's for sure. Ele looks even better imo. I expect ret and ww monk to also get some nice spells so we can see useful melees again. Hunter feels more nerfed than buffed from what I've seen so these changes should close the gap. The only thing that makes hunter much better than the rest is the 100% uninterruptable uptime while moving. If other classes are able to do dmg without interruptions, things will be different.

Maybe feral with bleeds and stun will be a good counter to them. Combine them with rogues or other dot specs and you get a squad to annoy hunters. Besides survi with bondages to remove bleeds :FrogeTorch:

I think if ww and ret get freedom each + feral and enh being hard to kite, melees will give hunters lots of trouble especially after hunter lost scatter, explosive trap and push back shotgun thing.

How is enhance unviable with there df talents? like theya re getting everything they need to be a great spec lol.

A gap closer? check
A wall ability? check
The ability to dart in and out of combat? check
Self heals? check.
CC? check

Enchance is going to do damn fine in DF bgs rofl.

I was talking about currently in SL. DF isn't even in PTR yet so nothing is sure. Although it does look good. Melees that hold their own in big fights are generally good in BGs. Currently that's surv, ret and warr due to tankiness.

Fair enough, they could make changes from now to df live.
