Unf this is a PITA due to Blizz slapping a completely unnecessary Level 90 requirement to use bait so you have fish them up in Pools, which takes forever lol. I'm still only about half way complete on my 10. Ty for the video though.

Bait doesn't matter anyway since they only influence the type of fish you get and not the size of the fish (size is entirely dependent on fishing skill).

I am maxed (600 Fishing at 10) and have every possible +Fishing (short of the STV Boots) on my main 10, and even when I exceed 1100 Fishing (stacking the pheramone consumables) the catch rate for Enormous outside Pools is abysmal. For reference, 950 is the max Level required for a 100% Enormous rate (in Pools) but open water is obv different, at least for lower Levels. I can't see how that's any different at 20 vs 10 but maybe I'm wrong.

What's your fishing lvl? I completely forgot a couple months back about not doing any fishing dailies or it reverts your lvl to 100? Just wondering if this has any effect on RNG for f2ps that are max fishing 100.

My fishing skill is indeed 100, but I'm not sure what you mean by effecting RNG. I've only been able to pull normal sized fish from open water if that's what you mean.

Unless you have a fishing skill of 650+ you will not catch any enourmous fish. At 700 you have ~50% chance of catch an enourmous fish and it increases linearly up to 100% when you reach a skill level of 950. That is, unless Blizzard buffed/nerfed fishing them up since I got the achievement.

But @DeLindsay said that even at 1100 Fishing Skill, fishing up Enormous fishies outside pools is "abysmal" when it's on a low player level?

What's the level of your char that fished up enormous fishes in open water, @Allybeboba?
